Abhay learns about Pia's secret through Haseena's diary and a supernatural secrets' book.
A few days ago
The surrounding was quite dark which was very unusually. Alina was resting her head back on the couch with the pale emotionless face. It was very rare that the Luna of werewolves was bothered by anything this much, very strange. She didn't even move her eyelids hearing the sound of heels on the stairs. Liana was noticing this while descending down the stairs with an amused expression. She knew her best friend very well and was slightly aware of the reason behind this strange behavior, but every time Alina had told her that she will tell her about Pia at the right time to shut her mouth from asking any questions. The dark hall was suddenly lit with the numerous LED lights. Alina now moved towards Liana, still with no expressions. Liana stood in front of her with arms folded across her chest and gave 'What-the-hell-is-wrong' expression. Alina chuckled at her; "You startled me. What's wrong now?"
Liana just shook her head and still looked straight towards her. "You know what? The creepy scenario around you was enough to haunt anyone like hell."
Alina smirked and stood up looking directly in her eyes. Liana glared back. "So, The queen of witches admits that she is SCARED of the darkness."
Alina spoke the word 'scared' in a childish tone but failed to calm Liana. She was standing there like a statue and didn't even smiled at Alina's attempt to cheer her up. "Comm'on Liana! Don't behave like this. Rehan must be arriving any moment now. We will tell him about Pia today."
This time Liana smiled a little with raised eyebrows. "Thank God! You have started acting normally. I thought you'll be mad someday with these secrets about Abhay and Pia."
They both giggled, and Alina rolled her eyes when the main huge wooden door flew open. Rehan entered and closed it with a light push while playing with the car keys in his finger in an attempt to mask his anger at being called so urgently and preventing him from seeing that muse of Abhay Raichand - Pia Rathod die in front of his own eyes.
Liana looked at him amusingly and mumbled, "Think of the devil and devil is here."
Her voice was audible in the silence of the room. Rehan chuckled at her remark and shot back while coming closer, "Wow! see, I was also thinking about you at the door step. Devil is here, very true."
Liana gasped at his nerve. Before she could taunt him back, Alina spoke in between, "Enough of you two! We don't have much time to waste. Rehan! I have called you here to tell you something VERY VERY important."
Rehan's face took a more serious expression now. He badly wanted to know what could be so important that her aunt had summoned so urgently. It better be something really worth his attention as he had no idea how he will control his anger on losing the chance to experience his one pleasure. He sat on the huge antique Mahogany chair, keeping one leg on the other and tapping his fingers on the arm of chair. He simply said in an expressionless voice, "Speak!"
Alina and Liana settled on the couch and then she began. "Rehan you know the reason that why we are residing here. We came here looking for the power with which we can defeat Abhay and finish him off so that we all can be free and our clans can live peacefully. And the good news is that... we have found that power source. We know the person very well. We just need to play a few tricks to get her on our side."
Rehan gave a confused look. "Ermm... You wanna say that... you know who has the power?"
Alina smiled with the clear hint of victory.
"Yes dear, her blood will set us free from this curse, A supernatural leader."
Rehan rolled his eyes casually and leaned back.
"Comm'on! Why are you talking in riddles?"
Liana impatiently broke the suspense.
"Pia! Pia Rathod is the one carrying that powerful blood. We just have to get her on our side somehow, and that's all."
Rehan's expressions changed to horror as soon as Liana spoke the name. He had just almost killed her. But if she was indeed the super power, then she would healed by herself. His straight lips curved into a wicked grin with an odd meaningful look. Pia had not seen his face. She had no reason to suspect him. Maybe he can use that against Abhay Raichand. Alina was amused to see his reaction, she expected him to be the most impatient person now to get Pia here. But he just smiled and said, "Thanks Alina!" and left the house again.
Rehan had to make sure that Pia had not died. He rushed back to the place he had left her to die and was shocked to see no signs of her, but scent of not one but two vampires in the vicinity. He knew one of them - Abhay Raichand. "Hmm... so he had come to save his precious human friend. Hmm.. interesting. Wait Abhay Raichand, till this precious human becomes the very reason for your ultimate doom!" Rehan thought and smirked to himself as a plan formed in his head. Now was the time for some real work. He would have to kidnap that feeble body again. Easy! But in all probability, that Raichand will not let it be so easy. He would now be over protective for her. But that makes no difference to Rehan. Abhay Raichand would meet his end real soon now. He returned back to the house and asked how Alina found out this information. Alina smiled and looked at Liana.
"No Rehan! Not me, it was Liana who first found that tattoo on her back. She told me about it."
Rehan laughed and he tried to avoid any further questions by humoring them "So, what's the difference? Liana and Alina are just spelled back and forth. The alphabets in the names remain same. Who did the work? Doesn't matter."
Rehan winked at Alina and put on his goggles while standing up and walked towards the door. There was no way he was going to let any of them in his plans. He was a lone player and would always be. Liana wanted to punch him in his face, and Alina guessed her mind. When he left, Alina chuckled, "Don't even think to punch him, he's too powerful for you."
Liana was still gazing at the door. "Powerful my foot! He didn't even praise my work. Doofus!" She walked away. Alina could just sigh and have pity on her poor friend. But her mind never left the curiosity of Pia, and how she was the most powerful and why.

Abhay entered his room and closed the door. He glanced at the empty room with gloomy eyes, a kind of regret was present there in them. He remembered that day when he brought her here and she was sleeping peacefully on his bed. The beautiful, naive girl who was unaware that what was her value in this supernatural world. Abhay sat on the rocking chair opposite to the fire place and leaned forward. What ever he got to know was something... something very strange! How could it be possible that he.. he fell in love with... PIA? His past life was like a supernatural fairytale for him where the rarest thing ever happened, a Vampire fell for a girl. Seems impossible! Unbelievable! Abhay smirked, as something inside him repelled his own thoughts. It told him that "No! It is possible. He is again at the same point of his previous life."
Arghhh... no! He can not think like this. What's happened? Abhay closed his eyes in frustration and jerked back on the chair, making it move on its own. He gripped the arm tightly as if the wood will break into pieces. The whole business was driving him insane! The council, the most trustworthy supernaturals he thought were the ones to actually betrayed him? How could they? They lied.. lied to make him their leader, but why? They'll have to pay for it, and he will make sure of it. Abhay thought in determination. He once again looked towards his bed and a picture of stubborn Pia flashed across his mind, making him smile unknowingly. Few seconds later, someone knocked at his door. It was very unusual that someone dares to disturb him. He went to open it and found a nervous looking vampire servant at his door. Yes, Abhay's all servants were vampires. He didn't like those machines running here and there in his house. The servant blinked and cleared his throat when Abhay didn't speak anything. "I.. came to tell you that your Tiger flavor blood is ready sir!"
Oh yeah! Abhay remembered that he had ordered for his special blood after such a tensed day. "Bring it up." and he banged the door at his face and the poor servant shivered.
Abhay went towards his wardrobe. He opened it and went through various shirts. His eyes halted at a black shirt. He remembered when Pia was trying to cover her exposed body in every possible way with this shirt, sitting on the bed like a kitten and was stretching this poor piece of cloth as if it will grow large. He chuckled when her horror stuck face came to his mind when he was demanding her to give his shirt back and she refused and asked what will she do without it? And he was all set to snatch it. Her fearful face reminded him of her kidnapping once again, and he clenched his fist to stop himself from ripping that person who did this. He felt a strong hatred to whoever dared do that. It could be the council again. It was still a mystery to Abhay as to how and why Pia got murdered when they were living happily as humans! What was her fault? Why did council kill her? Once again his mind was messed up and frustrated. "I'll not let them rest in peace Pia. I promise! It's my word to you. They'll have to pay for playing with Abhay Raichand's life. And from now on Pia, I'll protect you. You'll not get a single scratch. I promise!" He swore to himself and rushed to the bathroom like a wind, clutching the black shirt tightly.

He was inhaling deep after every 3 seconds and tried to maintain his composure. The sweat was dripping down his shoulders and his body was shaking slightly. He looked again at the counting meter of the digital push ups machine which was showing his 125 push ups now. Kshitij stopped and stood up from the machine and grabbed the water bottle from his gym bag. He gulped half of it in a go and tightened the cap on bottle again. Kshitij was gazing in the space, lost in thoughts. But his eyes were readable, saying clearly that he was poised to do something. He wiped his neck with the towel. "How..? How can I get her attention? She doesn't seem the shell to crack so easily! She's always busy in her own activities and friends. Alina! You are getting on my nerves now. You have made me impatient!"
Kshitij sighed and looked left to right. The trainer humanoid had left. He picked his bag pack, "May be, I can make you jealous?... But.. will it work? It seems quite useful. I can flirt around with the girls to make her jealous and catch her attention. I bet she'll fume at this. Girls have this common weakness, jealousy!"
He stepped at the escalator and adjusted his t-shirt with a smirk. "But, who can get on her nerves more? A pretty girl... err... Yeah! Sama!" Kshitij exclaimed her name in his mind. "I think Sama is a brilliant idea. She will be good with the flirt thing. Alina knows about our friendship and it will react as a bomb if she too feels something for me." Kshitij stepped down the last moving stair and pressed the button of sliding doors. He walked towards his car, busy in planning his next step.
