AbhiYa 'TrAngad-MiYa: Love, Stupidity & Crushes

Good episode. The story moved and hey! I was superhappy to have Haseena back. She is the hottest vixen on the show and I really did miss her Chaand's vampiregiri. Anyway , on to the episode:

AbhiYa:

EEE! After so many days, I felt like pulling cheeks of Piya instead of planning to strangle this OCD-hit Abhay-obsessed freako chick. After days ,she looked like the Piya we like . Yeah, yeah, I know this is a momentary break from her "ugh" jasoosi but it was a relief. Anyway , so madam not-so-Sherlock Holmes started off by placing a silver box in her locker ' because she knew that she had baited Abhay already by telling him that she had proof that vampires exist. And she was right for sure. Abhay came sniffing Piya and the proofs . Abhay was simmering and Piya's defiance didn't help much. He is sick and tired of pinning her to walls, pillars and now lockers to get things in her head but she refuses to. Abhay knows that Piya is inviting death and he is desperate to save her and that means stopping her. But he took another approach today. After his anger and manhandling of Piya was over , Abhay told her that he wanted to see what was her research. Piya was waiting for this ' wanting to see if silver burns him. But Abhay is familiar with the brains and whims of his 17 year old drooler. He touched the box in front of her wearing a latex peel on his palm. Maybe he had understood in the classroom that Piya was instigating him to walk into a trap.

So, there you had Abhay smirking and taunting Piya in the face who just laughed off Piya's research . Errrmmm' Abhay had a point , actually. This is not how a research project works ' googling and gathering available information. There is some real work involved and that would mean actually 'exploring' vampires. Abhay tossed a mild taunt to Piya that she should be writing fiction and went off. But for a change , Piya did not stamp her feet and hop around that her trap had failed. She reflected on Abhay's answers and defences and guess what? Love is blind. The little idiot forgot that there was a contradiction in Abhay's behaviour glaring in her face. Abhay had said that he was allergic to silver and now, right in front of her he had touched silver without a reaction? Did the medication do some magic?...But Piya didn't think of that. She only thought that maybe Abhay had been right all along and she was making his life miserable indeed. She felt bad inside and for a change , her mind took a backseat and her heart boxed her ears.

Then, you had an apologetic lovelorn Piya going to Abhay wanting to apologize and make up. But wham! How can things go smooth for her? She bumped into Abhay's birthday instead. And the look on her face was beautiful. She seemed as happy on discovering Abhay's birthday as she was in the first episode of this serial on a festive night. She actually forgot all about vampires and suspicions ' she was superhappy that it was a special day for Abhay and it showed on her face. I don't think she was half as happy on her own birthday. As she looked at a lonely Abhay looking at the world as though it was his enemy , she felt this gush of emotions towards him ' wanting to make him befriend the world , open his heart to everyone and embrace life. Piya wanted to make Abhay feel special on his birthday , in whatever way that she could.

A happy , smiling Piya went to Raichand Mansion in the night ' not scared that the Raichands hate her and that she is not welcome in that house. It was Abhay's birthday and Piya couldn't stay without her gesture of friendship and love. So, she took a cake for Abhay. Isn't that just so touching? Piya , as complicated as Abhay , really is his HOPE.

TrAngad

Poor Angad. Jab takk Tracker ke pyaar mein nahiin pada tha , kya mast thi zindagi. It is both sad and HOWLARIOUS how hard he is trying to propose Tracker and she? She is making paper rockets out of his heart by ogling over Shaw ( Shaurya is too long for me) and screaming at Misha that Shaw is her JEEJU! '.I love Tracker and maybe I should not take the TrAngad romance too seriously but I felt bad for Angad today. Poor guy. Hints pick karne mein bahot der laga di aur Tracker ne Shaw kea age line laga di.

But hey! The mud hole scene where Tracker sank into mud and Angad was at her feet made me cough on my lemonade. HILARIOUS.

MiYa

Hmmm''Shaw is not arrogant or mean. He is a PG degree holder in FLIRTING and line-maaroing. Quite contrary to our thought that MiYa will give attitude to each-other , we have Misha and Shaw indulging in mild flirting while a shocked Tracker looks on. Shaw was flooring Misha with his pseudo-gentlemanly behaviour while Misha was blushing like a Barbie without realizing it. And uh , what were they discussing? Arnab's office , sky , lingo and stuff. Yeah, right. From what I see Shaw is looking at Misha as another girl he can play around with because he was giving her those signals ' living upto his Casanova image. Misha is attracted to him but there is no realization of it ' and I think Shaw is going to take a chance on her. Let's see how Mishkoo deals with it. The chemistry between MiYa is not the intense and angsty type. It is playful, naughty and mischievous. It is good that AbhIya , TrAngad and MiYa chemistries are totally different from each-other. Misha's aadhi gharwaali line was ROFL. The girl is changing and she is going mad thinking what has come over her.

Haseena & Piya.

No wonder Piya thinks the whole Raichand family is insane.She was shocked that Haseena forgot her son's birthday. No matter what a loner or cactus Abhay is , Haseena had no excuse to forget Abhay's birthday. But hey, it was a relief that Haseena did not snarl at Piya and was kind to her. Invited her in , served her like a guest , for whatever reasons. But Piya gave her a shocker ' told her that Abhay was writing a book on Metz. And that changed the sexilicious warm Haseena into a trembling cat . Abhay and Metz? Again? That was written on her face and I liked the way she showed her transition from smooth to dara-hua-bhoot. The whole play with her shaky hands was cool. That is the reason Kishwer is my fave actress on this show. I love all but nobody beats her for me.

PRECAP : YAYYY! Chaand and Haseena want to celebrate Abhay's birthday by giving a party for Piya! Lolz. Nobody beats the DARK sense of humour of the Raichand khaandaan. I LURVE THEM. And Piya loves taking cakes to their house ' be it her birthday or Abhay's birthday. Haha!

P.S- I was watching JDJ on Sony and I loved what Remo ( my fave besides Terence Lewis ) had to say about how he became what he became. His childhood inspiration was Michael Jackson. Whatever Remo is today , is because of MJ and his ability to inspire generations. He has MJ tattooed on his arm. It is amazing how MJ inspired some of the greatest talents in this world but sadly, he is no longer around to see his glory. Sigh! MJ Forever.

Abhay-Piya: This is what soulmates are all about

Hi there,

Once again, today's episode was not about content. It was about the ESSENCE of Abhay-Piya's relationship. That how once in a lifetime, you find that one person who has always been your other half even though he/she lives outside your body , sometimes thousands of miles away. And one find day , they cross your path and you, only you know that just why you have been waiting for them all along. For Piya, Abhay is that other half and for Abhay , Piya is the second time resonance of that other half.

Abhay knew he was here to heal Piya and get her back to life. That is the sole reason that he was here – not to sit around and wait for Piya to get up. So, as the whole group of family and friends ( it was a pleasure to see T here , maybe she ain't that big a biatch after all and yeah, she looked smashing ) sat waiting for Piya to recover – praying , going tense and waiting for the sluggish tormenting night to pass, Abhay went into the ICU.

He didn't cry , he didn't break down, he didn't beg or plead with naked emotion. Piya needed his strength , not his weakness or vulnerability. Infact , the only time we have seen Abhay lose all control and go berserk in emotion has been whenever the Maithli septic is needled into. Otherwise, he is always in control.That is the Abhay Piya needed and he was there for her.

He sat by her side , and connected as they are , he conveyed it to her that she cannot leave him and go. All this while she has been waiting it to hear from him that he loves her , hasn't she? So, here he is. Yes, he is still a few steps away from telling her that he loves her – maybe because it is a leap of feeling after a wait and heartbreak of 200 years . Yet, he tells her what competes with a 1000 'I love yous'. He tells her that she is the only hope and promise he sees in this damned life of his. She is the heartbeat of a heart that has long stopped beating. He doesn't know the future – he doesn't know if she will have the heart, the guts , the courage and the insanity to love him when she knows that he is not even human but a living dead. Still, he wants to have her back – alive and smiling. So, the lion puts the heartbeat back into that sinking heart of the lamb. He heals all the physical pain with the healing power that he is blessed with by kissing her back to life.

Uncertain of the future , uncertain of the strength of Piya's love for him and preparing himself for the possibility that this fragile teenager will abandon him on seeing the monster in him, Abhay lies next to Piya , holding her hand , watching her and letting her know that he will be with her as long as she wants.

And while the whole team of doctors is going round and round in circles at this miracle which is failing all logics of medical science and even the most basic common sense , and all family and friends hopping around Piya, her thoughts and her feelings lie with Abhay. As he tells her that he is right here , waiting for her, she , with the most brilliant smile on her face , lets him know that she knows that he was here , with her , pulled her back to life. And no matter what he thinks , says or believes , her life belongs to him and with him.

As Chillz said yesterday , Abhay was there for Piya when not a single soul was , so now, even when the whole world loves her , as much as she respects them and loves them, her every single pulse, and every single heartbeat is in sync and in rhythm with Abhay and Abhay alone. As soon as she was fit enough to open her mouth and sit straight , the person she wanted to see was Abhay. I am glad that Misha was not judgmental of Abhay ( no idea about tomorrow though) when she told Piya that Abhay hasn't showed up. She just coolly made a joke out of his absence. Even when Kabir was getting furious over Abhay , Misha had kept cool. Misha's equation with Abhay needs to remain good and progress as well. She is the closest to Abhay as far as 'friends' are concerned and we would like that to continue.

When Misha called Abhay a 'knight in shining armour' , I was reminded of something that we used to discuss in a forum that don't want to name. No sensible girl in this world is looking for a Prince Charming who buys her cakes , flowers and diamonds. Each one of us is actually looking for a Knight In Shining Armour who respects you, stands by you through thick and thin, sees the beauty in you which no one else does and helps you protect your honour , pride and dignity. And this is a REAL LIFE fact , nothing to do with this soap.

PRECAP: Of course, Piya has never hidden her feelings for Abhay and has always thrown them in his face once the realization took over that she is irrevocably in love with him. So, it is only natural that she hugs him possessively the second she sees him. Relieved that he didn't leave her and go. But Abhay's face said something else as he gently hugged her back as you reassure a child that you are not going anywhere. Maybe he has decided to show her the vampire in him. Or maybe he has come to tell her that he didn't heal her. Whatever. But the expression on his face was definitely not a happy one. Who knows.

P.S- Chillz, Akkoo, Anu, Ritz. I am sorry but Sambhav will slap Misha. Can't help. Hehe.

AbhIya & MiYa ' Of OCD & IFA Syndromes

Hey guys,

An entertaining but mostly a filler episode with only entry of Shaurya, verbalization of Abhay's real fear that vampires are going to have her for dinner , Misha's girl side showing up at the sight of gorgeous Shaurya and the last scene of Piya openly challenging Abhay. Rest was just dot dot dot.

MiYa:

IFA Syndrome ' Instant Fatal Attraction Syndrome. Haha, so , finally there is a man who gave the tomboyish , rude beauty some goosebumps, an adrenaline rush and signs of those chocolicious goo-goo eyes that Piya gives Abhay. Misha saw Shaurya and let's face it ' it is this instant physical attraction to this brown-skinned , well-built guy who oozes sex appeal which is rather raw inspite of his sophistication. Normal for any teenager , yeah , but Misha seemed attracted by the rawness that Shaurya exudes ' because that is what she identifies with ' rawness , power, strength. If you notice , while all girls were going goo-goo and gush-gush, Misha was actually rounding him up, observing him and not in sync with herself. She is not in touch with the instant attraction that she felt on sighting Shaurya. So, yeah , it is going to be an interesting equation to watch as it progresses into a love story. I don't know about others , but , yeah, I like Shaurya. He is a show-off ' good looks, good legacy , loaded and subtle arrogance. But it's the way he carries his flamboyance that makes me like him. It's like, Abhay carries his appeal with sophisticated arrogance and Shaurya's first impression is that of " hell yeah , am a beefcake and am rubbing it in your face." Let's see how Shaurya unfolds but I did like him today ' good-looking and smug has it's own appeal. Ask Misha. The brown brawn V/s. white beauty. Gotta be fun. And hey!... Misha LIKES him. Imagine! Misha Dobriyaal at least looked at a man like a "woman". '.am hoping that Shaurya is a werewolf. Lolz. Sowwie.

AbhIya :

Today , it was confirmed that Abhay's fear is not about being exposed as a vampire ' it is about what the vampire clan will do to Piya when they come to know what Piya is upto. He knows that the bloodsuckers won't leave her alive. She is trespassing the unknown and that is not done. And if you look at it , there is not much Abhay can do. He can't stop her and he cannot let her continue either. Catch 22 situation? And Piya's OCD Syndrome ( Obsessive Compulsive Disorder ) is going to take her life and Abhay was prophetic when he said that Piya is going to finish herself when the ugly truth comes face-to-face with her. But hey! Give Abhay some credit , ppz! He manages to look so COOL and unruffled even when Piya almost throws it in his face that he is a vampire in the classroom.

Piya: Abhay , do you think vampires exist? 😳

Abhay : Sure , they do! Like fairies , wizards and'. Maybe , Harry Potter! 😉

ROFL. Why does Piya even try outsmarting Abhay at all? Anyway, fun aside, the precap is serious business and Abhay's anxiety and distress are rising. I feel terrible for him. It's like he is just destined to be agonized by something or the other. Metz is the eternal thorn through his heart and Piya's OCD is not making life easier for him. I try feeling bad for Piya but then, I look at the glaring truth that Piya has INVITED this into her life ' whatever her fate with Abhay , she has chosen it. If it's Abhay she wants , fine. But he doesn't come 'alone'.

So, on this note with the Dobriyaal sisters dealing with their syndromes , I take leave of you guys. I have nothing to say on rest of the episode.

P.S- I loved the transition of expressions that Priya Wal gave from a care-a-damn brat to an attracted syrupy teenager. Amazing. Her features suddenly went so delicate. The only other actor who does such smooth 'transition' of expressions on the show is Vivian Dsena ( during Maithli-Piya times and worried-but-hiding times). Of course, Kishwer Merchant is the best with transition of expressions but PW and VD are her juniors , so I don't want to compare. And before you guys think am calling other actors expressionless , let me repeat that am talking about TRANSITION of mood and expressions. The cast is great and all of them are fab.
