Chapter 8

In a dark Den,

Sidharth Raichand( elder son of Chnad Raichand and Abhay's brother) was sitting on a throne like chair, and there were several vampires around him.

Zaid entered there and bowed to him

Sidharth(in his deep voice): How r u doing my little vampire? And how is Abhay? (Makes a face like he was committed a mistake) ups sorry, how is Abir?

Zaid(in a nervous tone): I am doing my work properly, Abhay did not recognize her. He has forgotten the love of Pia. Now he has become a completely different person. He will never be able to recollect himself.

Sidharth(smiling): good job! I was tensed to know about his meeting with Pia. We can't kill or harm him but keeping him away from those memories and powers have given me the everything, u should make sure Abhay ko kuch yaad na aye, varna sab khatam ho jayega.Usko Abir banakar rakho.

Zaid: But sir, use uska pyarr chinke apko kya milega?

Sidharth:(smiling)u r a child, and acche bacche bas baro ke orders follow karte hai, unhe question nahi karte. (Sidharth's eyes showed a rage of anger)

Zaid (almost scared): I am sorry sir! I will obey all your orders, but please keep your promise. (He left)

Sidharth(grinning): never trust the evil!!!

After few days,

Pia: papa I had applied to a fashion magazine in London and they have selected me as an Intern.

Madhu: beta, par tu London mei akeli kaisi rahegi?

Pia: mom! May waha pe kisi hostel mei rah lungi, and waise vi 3 months vacation mila hai and yahape rahungi toh har cheez Abhay ki yad dilagi...

Arnab (sensed the pain in Pia's voice.): Pia great decision...u will get to learn new things. And jaha tak staying ki bat hai, u can rent an apartment .I will arrange it, there will be no problem..tum jane ki tayyari karo.

Madhu(trnsed): ye hap kya bol rahe ho? Who waha akeli kaise rahegi?

Pia: mom! I know apko meri fiqr ho rahi hai and its natural but I have to live on my own and aisi ghutan vari zindagi kab tak jiungi. Maybe oh new place, new people mera dard kam kar de!

Arnab: don't worry Madhu..mera ek project ho raha hai London mei so mera aana jana laga rahega. And jab tumhara man kare, tum milne chali jana.

Pia: thanks papa, mujhe samajh neke liye.

Arnab(waves his hand on Pia's head): mai bas tumhe khush dekhna chahta hu. Waise kabse join karna hai? And what is the post?

Pia: Assistant feature writer. I have good marks in English and they liked my writing style.Next month se join karna hai.

Arnab: don't worry mai sab arrange kar dunga.

Dobrial House,

Panchi(hugging Pia): wow Pia I am very happy for u..all the best!

Misha was sitting with a frowned face.

Pia: Misha...I need this change warrna mai ji nahi paungi.

Misha: hum se dur hoke agar tu ji sakti hai toh ji.

Panchi: come on Misha..Pia ke bare mei soch...baki sab vi toh sad the nah, but they agreed to let her go, for her happiness..tu vi samajh.

Misha: I hate it when u r right birdie!(hugging Pia) we were always together from childhood and u r leaving me alone now! Its ok I will manage..waise vi mai bore ho gayi thi tujhse...

They laughed and Pia and Misha hugged each other.

Kabir arranged a farewell party for Pia, and after lots of shopping, tears and hugs finally Pia was in the flight to UK!

IN UK...

Arnab had rented an apartment, the property agent had received Pia on the airport and took her to the building, it was small but cozy, Pia liked it. She took the keys and the property dealer had left .

Pia looked around her new house and arranged her things.

Next morning,

Pia woke up and was enjoying the view of nature from her balcony with a cup of hot coffee when suddenly she someone familiar down the street, as she looked closely she realized that It was Abhay!

Pia took a deep breath "no this can't be Abhay, this is my imagination"...

She quickly got dressed up for her first day of work.She wore a white shirt with blue jeans, and wore a black knitted scarf around her neck. She curly hair was made into a ponytail.

Glamour Magazine's Office:

Pia was sitting on the sofa at the reception place, waiting for her turn to be called inside. "Hi u r indian?"

Pia looked up to that voice and saw a girl in micro-mini skirt, with shoulder length brown hair, she looked like a model.

Pia: yes! I just landed here yesterday.

The girl: oh I see. Mai vi Indian hu, and iss company ke boss vi, so unhe Indian logo se attachment hai.By the way my name is Zenia, u can call me Zen.

Pia: nice to meet you Zen, I am Pia. R u a model?

Zen: no yar, I am the girl who stands behind a model in a shoot, extras you know...but it's my dream to be a supermodel.

Pia: u have every quality to be one!

Zen: really? U r so sweet yar!

Receptionist: Miss Dobrial u can go inside.

Zen: ok sweetheart see u some other time.(she left)

Pia went inside to meet the editor of the magazine, she knocked the door and was allowed to enter.The editor of this magazine was a british woman who looked to be around in her mid forties. She was painted with excess make up. Pia had read her name on the door it was "miss Victoria".

Pia: Good morning mam!

Vicrotia: so u r the new intern from India?

Pia: yes mam...

She called someone over the phone, and within a second a model type woman showed up.

Victoria: Lucy, she is ur new assistant from India, test her skills.And u miss curly hair I don't want to get any complains from u, got it?

Pia was confused. Lucy hissed into her ears (hello she is talking to u)

Pia:oh! Sure mam I will try my best to please u.

They got outside.

Lucy showed Pia her working desk.

Lucy: basically I am ur boss, I will give u to write and u have to obey me. Now go to your desk, I am sending ur 1^st assignment.

Pia nodded and went to her desk.

Pia closed her eyes and did a small prayer and got started with her work.

At the end of the day, Pia was feeling good she had made a new friend (Zen) and was enjoying her work as well.

Evening,At the main gate of office,

Zen : hey Pia,how was ur day?

Pia: it was not bad, but meri boss is a little kharoos.

Zen: haha!I agree! Ok I will leave now tc bye.

Pia started walking , suddenly a black car pas her so quickly that she was saved from crushing by only an inch!

The car stopped.

Pia was very scared, she almost got a heart attack.

Pia: Hey who r u? don't u know how to drive? Get out? I will sue u on reckless driving

A man stepped out, when Pia looked closely and could not get her eyes off .

Abir(surprised to see Pia): Oh God! Mai itna handsome vi toh nahi hu ke tum mere peeche peeche yaha vi aa gayi?

Pia was looking at him intensely.

Abir clicked his fingers on her face.

Pia: ahh..wha...t...

Abir (smiling): I am sorry, I drove in speed... r u ok?

Pia(looks down to avoid his gaze): its ok .

Abir: madam ap thik toh ho? Just a few seconds behind u were up to sue me.

Pia walks away without answering, leaving Abir with a "what's wrong with this girl" look on his face!
