Recently setting the forum abuzz with her talent for writing poetry, Romita aka Rmuk drew the attention of the creative team. She has now been welcomed warmly as the songwriter for the upcoming episodes, as and when needed.
'Dil Ibadat had forever been AbhIya's song, and we do not mean to undermine it in any way,' says Shreya, a member of the organizing team. 'However, we will also need other songs, as it becomes too unrealistic to expect the youth of seven decades later to be very fond of such old songs.'
Understandably nervous, Romita says, 'I never thought I could do this but yes, I will try because I heart PKYEK and these songs lyrics I just write from my heart and the rest depends on the audience, if they will accept me as a songwriter.'
Head of the advertising department, Dhrishti aka Divya6696, is happy with the development as she feels 'this will add a flavor of originality to the episodes.' However, she strikes a cautious note as she says, 'I hope the audiences give their feedback on this, however I am not expecting much, because not many people seem to be interested anyway, and it really is very disappointing for us, for we are going to be working on this inspite of our exams.'
Producer Priya says, 'I don't understand her works that well, because I am not very good at Hindi, but I did read a translated version, and it was really good. I'm glad she's part of this team.'
Creative Indu aka lost-in-love says, 'The idea itself is pretty innovative and refreshing. Besides, Romita herself is a well known writer and her works are popular. I am sure that a promising writer like her is sure to deliver a good..not good, but very good job in the near future, and I am sure she will make the team proud.'
Well, we're hoping the new songwriter lives up to the expectations!
Stay tuned for more updates.
