2 months after AbhIya wedding...
Evening. 8:30 pm.
Raichand Mansion.
'Haseena, have you seen them?' said Chand as he entered the room where Haseena was reading. She looked up. 'You mean...after they went shopping? I had no idea they were back.'
'I saw their shoes,' said Chand. 'Piya's heels, anyway. They must be here.'
'I'll go and check,' said Haseena, getting up. She headed for Abhay and Piya's bedroom. Her vampire hearing caught a few murmered moans as she approached.
Haseena became slightly worried : Were they all right? She reached out to knock, when she heard Piya's breathless voice.
'Oh... Abhay...this feels sooo good... Do that again...' she moaned. Haseena stopped as though she had been slapped, her hand halting in midair.
'Yes...like that...oh, yes...'
Haseena's eyes widened. No...it could not be...
She heard her son's voice next. 'Anything for you, love,' he said in a low voice. 'Better?'
Haseena stepped back in mortification. If she were a human, she would have been a rich shade of crimson. She backed away slowly, but as she stepped away, she heard Piya squeal. 'Gently, Abhay... Not so rough!'
Not waiting for an answer , Haseena fled back to her room. Chand stood up, looking worried at her pale face. 'Is everything all right?' he asked. 'When are they
going to have dinner?'
'They- um- they-' began Haseena, but could not complete her sentence. 'They're busy in their room,' she managed to stammer at last, not daring to meet Chand's eyes.
'What could be so important now?' said Chand irritably. 'It's not good for humans to have a late dinner. I'm going to have a word with them.' He got up and strode out. Haseena wanted to warn him, but doubted she could, even if she wanted to.
When Chand reached the bedroom door, he heard their voices. Piya's was raised, sounding ecstatic. 'Abhay...yes, yes yes!' she squealed. 'Don't stop...please.'
Chand stopped in confusion. What on earth was going on.
'You sound so sexy when you say my name, love,' he heard his son say.
'Shut up and keep going,' he heard his daughter in law reply.
Chand had heard enough : he now realised why Haseena had been so awkward. His imagination was bombarded with Abhay and Piya in not-so-innocent poses.
'I tried to tell you,' said Haseena, looking tortured, as Chand entered the room, wearing much the same expressions as herself.. 'But how could I tell you that our son-' she trailed off, now knowing how to continue.
AbhIya's room :
Abhay pulled Piya closer, dropping a kiss on her hair. 'Better?' he whispered. 'Loads better,' she said, snuggling contentedly in his arms. 'I never knew you were such a good masseur. My foot feels as good as new.' 'I'm glad you feel better,' said Abhay. 'I hate seeing you in pain.' 'I'm never wearing heels again,' she complained for the dozenth time that day.
'Yeah, just throw the things away,' agreed Abhay.
Piya sat up a little straighter. 'Honestly, Abhay, you ought to be given the gold medal for massaging feet. I feel so much better.'
Half an hour later :
'We ought to see Mom and Dad,' said Piya as they finished dinner. 'We haven't seen them all day. Let's just wish them goodnight, okay?'
Abhay grinned. 'I'd rather not.'
'Don't be mean,' she scolded him. 'They must be missing us.'
'Go and visit them, then,' said Abhay, still grinning. 'Don't say I didn't warn you later.'
'Hi Mom,hi Dad, I just came to say-' began Piya as she entered the room. But she could not finish what she said as there were two gasps and a very irritated Chand who said, 'Do you mind leaving us now?' Piya's wide eyes travelled from Haseena, who looked highly embarassed as she covered herself till the neck with the bedsheet , to Chand, who looked highly irritated.
'Oh...' she said slowly. 'I'll...leave you two to it then,' she all but ran from the room.
Abhay doubled up in laughter as she burst in, her face scarlet with embarassment. 'I told you,' he choked out. 'They're always-'
'Stop it, please,' said Piya, who was turning green. 'I think I'm going to be sick. I think my eyes are scarred forever.'
She rushed into the bathroom.
