Abhay ?? Who is he ? From Siddharth's speeches it seems like he is a patient , but for a patient so much concern ? It does not suit Siddharth's character . Yes , he is highly professional , a Khadhoos in Misha's language , keeps roaring on them , but its on them , the new interns or the junior doctors . But on Dr. Patel ? He is so senior , such an experienced doctor , how can Siddharth shout on him ?? Something is unusual there... Piya thinks... Suddenly the noise stops & the sudden silence brought her back to sense . Piya looks up , Siddharth is staring at her !
Oh God ! Did he stop seeing her ? Siddharth speaks out " Yes Doctor Piya Dobriyal , you have any work with me ?"
Piya felt a tone of annoyance , she gets nervous . Oh no ! Is Siddharth angry on her ? But what did she do ? God knows ! Nothing is impossible for this Hitlar , its better to finish the work & leave fast . Piya shrugs her shoulder and tries to relax a bit " Actually Sir I need your signature on these papers " she tries to say in normal tone .
Sidharth notices the papers in her hand and says to Dr. Patel " ok we will talk later , you may leave " & then to Piya " ok , let me check first " & starts to read the papers that Piya handed over him .
Piya notices while reading the papers Siddharth is noticing Piya again and again . Piya feels a little bit irritated & a bit frightened too...but she maintains her silence . At last Siddharth finishes checking the papers , signs them & gives them back to Piya . Piya takes the paper & just was to leave suddenly Siddharth calls from behind " Dr. Piya , from next time knock the door before you enter someone's cabin . Its the basic manners . Ok ?"
Oh God ! She was right ! Siddharth is indeed angry on her . But how rude ! How can he say like this ? Piya knows her manners very well , she was to knock , but before she could knock Siddharth saw her . But Piya doesn't go to any arguements , after all he is her boss , she turns back & says " Sorry sir , actually..."before she could complete her sentence Siddharth interrupts " Keep in mind from next time , you may take a leave now ."Piya leaves silently .
Siddharth's facial expresseions are saying he is very much worried about something . This girl , this Piya Dobriyal ! Siddharth starts to spin the paperweight while thinking...this girl is really strange . Was she listening to their conversation ? But why ? Gosh ! This girl was standing there & he was talking about Abhay ! How long she was there ? He just hopes she didn't hear anything about Abhay , no . She must not...no one should know about Abhay . 3 years...from 3 years he is hiding him from this world , only whom he can trust more than himself have lisence to be a part of this mystery . This girl must not know anything . But if the girl heard about Abhay she may have questioned him . But she did not . Siddharth gets a little relaxed...perhaps she did not hear anything .
Lunch break at Canteen
Ruhi : "Hey guys you all met Doc. Wadhwa ? He is sooo handsome na ? I have fallen in love with him yaar ! Love at first sight you know ?"
Misha : " Dumbo ! If he gets to know that will be your heart break at last sight ! He is married u stupid ! "
Ruhi : " What ? Married ??? Not fair na ? How would I understand if he is married or not ??? "
Misha : " Ya thats right ! Males do not wear managalsutras na ? Thats why you didn't get it despo !"
Ruhi( in hurt tone ) : "What ? You are consoling me or taunting me ? "
Misha laughs ! " Oh God ! You are really so dumb yaar ! I will not be surprised at all if you now tell us that you like that khadhoos SR too !" Misha makes faces ...
Ruhi : " Oh ya ya...you mean Siddharth na ? Ya you are right . He is also in my handsome hunks' list . He is sooo handsome na ?"
Misha : " Sorry to break your heart again miss Despo . But your handsome hunk has a pretty wife too & he loves his wife !"
Ruhi : " What ? You are serious ? Or trying to break my dreamz ?"
Misha : " Not interested in your stupid dreamz at all ! You may ask anyone . She is Tanushree Raichand . She is also a doctor & started her career from this hospital . Perhaps just like you she also took chance on that khadoos & that Khadoos bechara also got trapped ! Poor SR ! But I heard he loves her a lot !"
Ruhi : " Oh...thats not fair yaar...why all my crashes are married ??? Thats really not fair ! I am right na Piya ?" she asks to Piya .
Piya does not answer . Now she catches Misha's attention too . Both are surprised to see Piya is still steering her coffee with a spoon since long 20 mins . She didn't even eat anything ! It seems like she is lost in deep thought somewhere .Misha : " Hello miss Dobi ! Please spare the coffee now . Bechara must be tired now because of your constant steering !. "
But still Piya does not answer , as if she just didn't hear her words . Misha tries again " Hello ! We are talking to you madam !" & snatches the spoon from her hand . Piya comes back to sense " What ??? What happened ? "
Misha : " Thats the thing we are asking ! What happened ? Where were you lost so long ?"
Piya tries to become normal " Nothing... Nothing serious !"
Misha : " Are you sure ?"
Piya assures her that she is ok, but in mind she herself knows that she was really thinking about something ...or may be someone ???? Abhay ! Who is this Abhay ? For him Siddharth was so much worried ! He is surely not an ordinary patient ! He must be very important to Siddharth ! It was clear from his voice ! & moreover he stopped as soon as he saw Piya . Was he hiding that matter ? But why ? & the more surprising thing is why she is thinking so much about it ? She once looks at the watch & shakes her head . Just 5 min left ...she starts to have her lunch fast . She was lucky . Just when she finished her lunch, the bell rang . She just grabs her stetho & white coat & rushes towards her duty wards . But on the way she notices a little crowd in the councelling room . Now what is it ? Even Misha & Ruhi also standing there ! Piya becomes curious " Hey whats going on here ? Why are you standing here ? You will get late & that hitlar will shout again !"
Misha : " Nope . Cause this time we are accompanying that Hitlar's better half "
Piya gets puzzled " what do you mean ? Whom ?"
Misha : " Ruhi's competitor ! I mean that Hitlar's wife ! Tanushree aka T mam !"
Piya : " what ? But why is she here ? "
Misha : " Actually she is one of the members of the trust board of this hospital . So everytime she comes to meet the new interns . We are assembled here to meet her ."
now Piya makes out the whole thing , but it seems like Ruhi is not satisfied at all , she speaks out " I am telling you guys , this meeting to interns is just an excuse , actually she comes here to check if any girl came who is more beautiful than her "
" Ha ha ha " Misha replies " or to be exact she checks if any dumbo like you taking chance on her husband !"
Oh God ! These two started again ! Piya's mood was going worse ...just then a beautiful lady , to be exact girl , it seems like she is just 2-3 years senior than them enters the announcement stage . She starts hello young people I am Tanushree Raichand , may be you all have heard about me . Some years before I also joined this hospital as an intern just like you all , I still remember those days... I still cherish those days...so every year when the new interns are appointed I really feel to meet them & welcome them to our ASHA . She stopped , Oh God ! Did she come here just to give such boring lecture ?? Piya was not really feeling to listen , she can feel Misha & Ruhi has started their fights in whispering tone again but Piya is just too relactant to join them . She will be damn happy if she is permitted to go back to her work right now . Mrs. Tanushree Raichand is calling the interns one by one , giving a flower bouque & wearing him/her a badge by herself . Now it was Piya's turn . Tanushree is calling " Dr. Piya Dobriyal "
Piya Dobriyal ! Tanushree is really very much keen to see her , if all what Siddharth said about her is true then...she is really very much eager to get a glimpse of Piya Dobriyal . When Piya comes to stage she also pauses , gets surprised to see Tanushree's reaction . A shocked surprised expression was written on her face , as if ...as if she just can't beleive what is she seeing ! Siddharth told her this , she was mentally prepared for this , but still...its really such a great surprise that she just couldn't check herself from reacting in that way , but she managed herself quick & welcomed Piya too like other interns . Maybe she managed herself fast , but still Piya noticed her previous expressions very well . A few day before Siddharth & now Tanushree ? Both reacted in same way when they saw her , as if they just didn't expect her here ...but why ? Do they know her from before ? But how is it possible Piya never went out of Dehradun , then how this Raichands of Mumbai would know her ?
Piya is feeling really puzzled . She shakes her head ... Oh God ! Now she is in her duty & she is still thinking about this ? God !
Misha brings her back to sense " Hello Dobi mam our duty time is over . Are you determined to do overtime ? "
What ? Piya looks up at the clock , ya she just didn't notice it ! Now its the time to go home , she feels quiet relaxed , but before that she has to submit today's report to that Hitlar ! Oh God ! Again to him ! Piya makes her papers ready quick and asks Misha " You have reported ? "
Misha : " Ya I did it already "
Oh no ! That means Piya alone have to go there . " Ok " Piya replies & leaves for Siddharth's cabin . She was just to knock the door she stops , she can hear some discussion is going on inside & she can hear her name on that !
Siddharth's voice says " Yes T ! Even I couldn't beleive myself when I saw Piya . I just felt like... Goddd ! I can't even explain !"
Tanushree's voice replies " Ya Sid , the same with me ! When she came towards me smiling I just felt so much surprised ! You told me about her , I knew everything about her , I came just to meet her , but still...still she left me so astonished ! How is it possible ?"
Siddharth was to reply something , but before that someone other knocks the door & Siddharth stops . It was the time for report submitting , every interns were doing the same , Piya also silently submits her report & was just to leave suddenly Siddharth calls her back " Dr. Piya ! Don't come tomorrow morning !"
What ??? What is he saying ? Piya turns to him surprisingly , Siddharth continues " Tomorrow you will be on night shift . "
Night shift ? But generally interns are not scheduled for night shift ? Siddharth makes out from her expression & explained " actually tomorrow some of our doctors are at leave & we need a sincere & caring doctor , so I just sorted out your name !"
wao ! As a sincere caring doctor ??? Suddenly Piya feels damn happy ! Suddenly she feels Siddharth does not seem to be that bad like before . She happily agrees & when she comes out & saw Danish was present there to pick her up her happyness got doubled ! Danish sees Piya coming out with a big smile on her face .
Danish asks in a light tone " Hmm...it seems like my little sister is very much happy due to some reason !"
Piya just explains her reason totally
at one go & even does not forget to
mention that her boss has
mentioned her as " Sincere" & " Caring" !!!!
"Wao thats great !" Danish smiles " It seems like you already have made your mark ! Great !"
In the mean time they reaches to their flat & Piya just rushes inside to pass this news to Panchi . But she stops when she gets to see that Panchi is packing the bags .
" Whats going on ? " she asks .
Panchi : " Actually Piya , we are leaving tomorrow . Dad called today . He needs Danish for some work & Mom needs me for her houshold works . So we are leaving by tomorrow's flight . " Panchi stops .
What ? Arnab called Panchi ? But didn't call Piya ? Why ? & Madhu ? She needs only Panchi ? Not Piya ? A drop of tear rolls down by her cheek . But before anyone could see it she wipes it off & says " hey I am very tired ...need some rest " & leaves for her room .
At night Piya was thinking all what happened in previous days . She thought she would tell Panchi about the confusion that she is having with Siddharth , but now she can not . They are going back tomorrow & Piya just can not send her back with a load of tensions . Better she deal it herself . She turns once to look at Panchi , she keeps gazing on her sister for sometime . How innocently , how peacefully she is sleeping . No , Piya should not tell her about all this . She now picks up her phone and checks the log again , no Madhu or Arnab did not call her . She already came so far from them , now tomorrow Panchi will also leave . From tomorrow she will be alone in this city . Silent drops of tear start to flow from her deep brown eyes , she is having a strong feeling that slowly she is being detouched from her family , she is losing them . Whole night Piya cried silently without letting Panchi to know that her little sister could not sleep at all .
Next night 1am at ASHA hospital
Piya is on her night shift duty , but still she was thinking about the whole day . Today she really enjoyed a lot . Danish took them to a multicuisin restaurent to give her a treat , Panchi did lots of shopping before going back , Piya also accompanied her ...wao ! Such a nice day it was ! She really spent a quality time with her sister and brother in law . Piya was smiling thinking all these...but as her thinking proceeds her smile fades out . When Panchi & Danish entered the airport don't know why she felt like to cry ! As if ...as if they are leaving her forever...Piya scholds herself " Oh ho ! Nothing is going to happen like that ! Why am I thinking like that ? Infact why am I thinking so much ?" but what else she can do ?
Piya looks up & check the whole ward again . She gigles in minds yesterday she became so happy by Siddharth's words , but now ? Now she is realising that Nightshift is the most boring duty hours . All patients are sleeping , even some nurses & wardboys are also sleeping , some doctors have reached the step just before to sleep , only Piya & some other doctors are awake . Misha & Ruhi are also not here , they served their duty at the day time as usual , now Piya even feeling sleepy . Piya stands up & thinks to give a round to the whole hospital just like a senior doctor !
Wao ! It would feel great ! She thinks ...& that Hitlar also not present right now , so no one here to schold her right now . Piya comes out of the ward and starts to roam around in the hospital typically in a senior doctor's style.She completed her round in ground floor & 1st floor . Now she has reached 2nd floor .
Oh God ! The 2nd floor is mental ward ? She never came here . Piya keeps thinking standing on the staircase,should she go or not ? She have heard that mental patients are sometimes very dengerous & violent too ! What if suddenly any patient comes infront of her ? But the atmosphere is so calm & quiet , all must be sleeping & moreover she is a doctor ! How can she be frightened from patients ? Piya enters the ward . Wao ! So nice ! No one can say its a mental ward . Such a clean , cool atmosphere . Piya is just amazed to think that she is working in such a mervelous hospital ! She indeed is lucky & yes , she did not take any wrong decision . It would be wrong if she would reject this offer listening to her parents , but right now Piya is feeling that she took the right decision ! Piya was walking through the corridor , suddenly a noise acquires her attension . She can hear some noise coming from a near by cabin . Piya keeps going in the direction of that noise & slowly the noise becomes clear to her , someone is breaking things inside a cabin & simultaneously screaming & pleading " Leave me ! Let me go !" , or sometimes " No ! Don't save me ! I want to die !" and many more like those .
Piya stops outside a locked cabin . This cabin is locked from outside ? But she is damn sure the sound is coming from this cabin . Piya feels a great curiosity is developing within her . She slowly opens the lock & then opens the door . She gets a view of an youngman walking through out the cabin & breaking things like lamp sheds , medical kits etc etc .
Who is he ? Is he a patient ? Piya thinks , ofcourse he is a patient , thats also a mental patient ...the man is still screaming those lines & breaking things . Piya starts to think rapidly what should she do now ? Should she go back ? Or should she try to...suddenly the man stops , perhaps he has sensed Piya standing at the door . He picks up the glass from table & turns to Piya clearly wishing to throw it on her . On that instant Piya's brain stopped working , she just closes her eyes in great terror !
But...but minutes passed by , but the man did not hurt her . Infact he is not shouting too ! He is totally at pause ! Piya slowly opens her eyes & on the first sight her eyes strikes on a pair of cold crystal blue eyes . Those eyes are staring at her in a strange manner ! Don't know what was in those eyes , but Piya felt a strange unknown feeling in her heart . She now moves on her eyes on the owner of those hypnotic blue eyes , the man is really handsome , has an well maintained physique , right now no one can make out that he is a mental patient . Oh God ! What happened to him ? What brought him in this mental ward ? Piya feels a tinge of pain...The man is surprisingly silent now . Seeing him standing silently Piya gathers a little courage and comes forward and she asks " Who are you ?"
The man does not answer , but keeps staring at her like before , on his eyes there is no sign of violence now , Piya can see a deep pain in those blue eyes . Piya picks up the medicine box & brings out a sleeping peel . She takes the glass from his hand , but the man did not protest at all , infact when Piya brought the glass pouring water in it & the peel , He takes the peel without protesting , just like an obidient patient while constantly staring at her . For the first time in life someone is staring at her in that way but Piya is not feeling irritating . The man keeps staring at her , as if he knows her...as if he has something to tell her...the man closes his eyes gently ... Piya is just amazed to have a view of his sleepy face...so innocent , so pure... he has an angelic effect on his face... Piya feels a deep pain in her hearth for this unfortunate young man... God knows what happened to him that brought here...When she becomes sure that he has slept , Piya thinks to leave , but she could not . She could not move after some steps as she felt a backward force on her dopatta . Piya turns back and surprisingly finds that the man has fallen asleep holding her dopatta in his hand .
