Director's Kut's Amrit Manthan on Life OK is up for a dramatic upheaval in the coming episodes. It has been already reported that Dimple Jhangiani will exit from the show with the death of her character, Nimrit.
A little birdie from the sets informed that this replacement was planned since months now and it was channel's decision to change Nimrit. Therefore Dimple Jhangiani is very upset for she is being eased out of Life OK's Amrit Manthan.
She said to Tellychakkar.com, "Amrit (Adaa Khan) does this for she is very jealous of her and has come to know about it (Amrit will kill Nimrit)."
So will she come back? "No the creative will replace me with someone else. They are doing this for there is lots of sympathy for my character and they hope they will be able to create more drama with Nimrit's death and the new face coming in. They must be hoping that with this new twist rating will cross the 1TVR mark."
So how do you feel on being shown the door? "Obviously, I am very hurt and what makes it really galling is the fact that it was the track of Nimrit and Agam's (Navi Bhangu) wedding which lifted the rating from 0.4 to 0.8 and yet they choose to ease me out. In recent times, I was the one who was shooting non-stop whereas Adaa would even get a break. This is the reward I get for hard work? "
Can't you speak to the production house? "I have spoken to Rajan ji but what can he do? It is the channel which takes most calls and they have made frequent changes to the story line as well. He tried to console me saying everything happens for the best."

Nimrit, after the accident, will undergo plastic surgery, bringing a change in her appearance. This will mark the entry of Ankita Sharma in the show.
