Zee TV is on a super high these days. After launching, Punar Vivah, Phir
Subah Hogi, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (to air on 21 May 2012) the
channel is all set to come up with another show produced by Jay Mehta
Productions. And we have learned that young and bubbly Ekta Kaul, a
newcomer from Jammu, has been signed to play the female lead in the
show. Apart from Ekta, Bharti Patil has also been roped in by the
makers.

Ekta will play the role of Sahiba who will be settled in
Chandigarh and will be abandoned by her would be husband on the day of
wedding. On the other hand, Bharti Patil, who was last seen in Tum Dena
Saath Mera (Life OK), will play the role of the male lead, Daljeet's
(Kanan Malhotra), mother Veera. She will be very possessive about her
family and will have many expectations from her son. The shooting for
the show is expected to begin from 9 May 2012 and it will hit the TV
screens in the month of July.

Other names in the star cat include Sukirti Kandpal, Ashish Sharma, Kanan Malhotra and Aryan Vaid.

When
contacted Bharti Patil, she confirmed the news and said, "Yes, I am
doing the show and it's an honour to play this role. I am very happy to
work with Jay Mehta Productions and I just hope that people like my
work."

Ekta Kaul remained unavailable.
