Vivian's view on romantic scene(TB article)

It has now become a trend of the television industry to add more romance in the shows to attract more viewers

The Indian Television shows are always in a race for gaining more TRPs. They have to face a cut throat competition in order to gain more TRPs for their shows. The creative units of the shows are adopting different TRP gaining formulas each day. Among all types of hit TRP gaining ideas that our creative units have with them, they prefer to add romantic tracks in their shows. Adding more romantic tracks in a tv show has proved to be a super hit formula for gaining good TRPs.

Romance is the genre, which has always attracted a good no. of viewers. Whether in the movies or in any Tv series, people have adored to watch romantic genres more over any other genres. The television shows such as Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain, etc. have a great no. of fan followings because of the soft romantic tracks they project. Though the shows like Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, Dill Mill Gayye, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, etc. have gone off air now, but are still remembered by many fans. These shows have made their fans go crazy after showing their favorite stars romancing on screen. This is the reason, why we have also seen the sequels of Dill Mill Gayee and Kitani Mohabbat Hai. Viewers were eager to watch the sequels of these shows which finally forced the creative team to think over it and hence they were materialized. The hottest romantic couples of tv like Karan Singh Grover-Jennifer Winget, Karan Kundra-Kritika Kamra, Vivian Dsena-Sukirti Kandpal, Harshad Chopra-Anupriya Kapoor, have given some convincing romantic tracks on-screen. So, do the actors prefer romantic tracks to the others to be forever etched in the minds of the audience?

Vivian Dsena who played Abhay Raichand in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani feels that, "Though romantic tracks are very soft and appreciated by the audience but I don't wish to do romantic tracks only. I prefer to do all kinds of tracks but the most important thing I take into account is that I should perform well."
