No one had ever imagined that Piya Dobriyal's father, Arnab Dobriyal would become the head of the vampire clan in STAR One's prime time show Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani.

He shares, "I had never imagined that I would be destined to such a life. The truth is that, now I'm a vampire and not the person I used to be. I stand here, a new Arnab Dobriyal, who's forced to suffer an unemotional existence. I cannot be bothered with the thoughts of a family."
However, the change doesn't come easy and he expresses feeling lost, and missing his family. He says he especially misses his daughters Misha and Piya. "Yes, at some level, I can't help but miss my family. At this moment I am enjoying a powerful position as a vampire and it's a giddy and thrilling feeling. I am also starting to believe that this is a boon and not a curse!"
When we ask him about his plans for Abhay, he reveals, "He has come to me for help and I can tell the difference between a good and evil soul. Through my power of supernatural vision, I will learn of Piya's abduction and for her sake, help Abhay."
