UPDATE-4

Raichand Mansion

She stepped inside. Her eyes turning blood-red and her nostrils flared, as her view shifted to Piya from Abhay's face. Piya was holding on to Abhay's arm and sitting still beside him. The sound of opening of the door, made her look up in front. Piya's heart missed a beat, as she looked into the blood-shot furious eyes of her mirror image standing right in front of her. And before Piya even could utter a word, her body was pinned against the wall, thrashing her head hard, she clutched Piya's throat into her hands, her fangs just an inch away.

Choking Piya to death…she hissed,

"How dare you! How dare you touch him with your dirty hands! You filthy human being! Its because of you, my Abhayendra, is in this condition. Only you are responsible for this! 200yrs I have been wandering on this earth being an undead, only to get my love back. But you ruined everything for me. The man, who was madly in love with me years ago, has despised me because of you, a mere human! You snatched away my love from me! What's so special about you? You have my face, that's it. My spell failed in front of the power of your love! You obnoxious human! If you think I will leave you so easily, then you are absolutely...(with an evil grin)..…right!"

Saying this, she left Piya's throat and turned back to look at Abhay. She moved forward and stood beside the bed, where Abhay was laying and caressed Abhay's face tenderly. Piya, getting a grip on herself, spoke up,

Piya: Maithali… I know, Abhay had loved you with all his heart and soul when he was a human, you were human. Even when, for the first time he saw my face and thought it was you. Even when he saved me from that brutal fire. Even when you froze him to death. He did love you. But when did you love him? Where you were when Abhay had tortured himself, blamed him for your death. Where were you, when he died each and everyday, thinking that he failed to save you. Where were you when, Jeh attacked him and stabbed him brutally? You weren't there Maithali, you were never there. What kind of a love you have for Abhay? What do you call this love? Abhay's Maithali died that very day, when this evil Maithali rose up to darkness.

Maithali was stunned beyond compare hearing Piya's words. For the first time every, she didn't had words to say.

Piya (with a calmed voice): Maithali…if you want to kill me, go ahead and do it. But it's only my body which will be dead, as my soul will always live inside Abhay.

A sly grin appeared on Maithali's face, her eyes evilly glittering. She came across and stood in front of Piya with hands folded right across her chest and tilting her head aside.

Maithali: Silly human! Do you think, I will give you such an easy death? No, no my dear lady. I won't kill you now. You are the only way; I can have my Abhayendra alive. I didn't come here to harm you, no, I came to bid farewell to my love. To see him for the last time, before I go. But don't think, am going to leave you. No! Never! You took away my most precious possession. And one day, I will give you back each and everything that you did to me. (with a hard voice)So on that fateful day, when you will be at your most vulnerable state, I will be back! Back to claim what is mine! To destroy you!... (Playfully) so still then enjoy your little fairytale.

Saying this, she came near the bed, bending down; she planted a soft kiss on Abhay's cheek. A tear rolled down from her eyes.

"I will return, my love. Return to make you mine forever!"

And within a blinking of eyes, Maithali vanished in the thin air.

Before Piya could hold herself tight, Chand, Haseena, Alina and Arnab stormed inside the room, with the bottle of potion.

Alina (frantically): Hurry up; we only have 5mins in our hand!

Haseena came forward and sat beside Abhay, she opened the bottle of potion. Holding his hands, she poured a few drop inside Abhay's mouth as Alina kept on chanting her spell.

And they all waited, waited for Abhay to open his eyes. To speak a word, to have a movement. But to their shock and horror, Abhay laid there still, eyes closed.

Haseena's face turning into a mask of horror and panic. Holding Abhay by his shoulder, she shook him up.

Haseena (trembling): Abhay! Abhay wake up! For God's sake wake up Abhay! Abhay…..!

Tears gushing down from her eyes, she kept on calling Abhay's name. Chand came forward and kept a hand on her shoulder.

Chand (with a choked voice): Haseena…I think…we have been late…. in saving Abhay.

Alina and Arnab stood there like fixed mannequins, with panic stricken face and tearful eyes. As if they have been punched in their guts. Haseena refused to let go.

Haseena (crying): No Abhay! Don't do this to me! Don't do this to us! Come back son! Come back!

And she broke down on the floor with tears in her eyes.

Taking a small step forward, Piya came up in front. Her face blank and eyes had no expression. She sat beside Abhay on the bed. Abhay's angelic-face was resting in peace. Taking his hand in hers, slowly she bends down. As her soft, wet trembling lips touched Abhay's cold but gentle lips, Abhay's dead heart caught a beat. His body warming up to Piya's touch. With a tiny movement, he parted his lips taking Piya's fragrance within, and kissed her back. As Abhay brushed his lips softly to Piya's, she looked up. With a smile so warm, his icy-blue eyes were boring into her soul. Taking a deep breathe, he whispered;

"Piya…"
