Chapter 18

Few days had passed with Abhay and Pia being together, and Abhay taking care of her. Pia was living in her wonderland. In these days, Abhay forgot the fact that he and Pia were not meant to be together, infact he was very happy. On the other hand Jeh was very angry seeing them together but his dad told him to calm down as he had other plans.

Chand was being desperate of having the powers of a superior and he was not able to wait for it. He was researching all the way on how to get those powers sooner.

The clock striked at 12 and it was the day of Pia's birthday. Actually it was the day when Madhu and Arnav first found her; they always celebrated this day as her birthday. Pia was sleeping on rhe bed with a pink t-shirt and matching pajamas, when she heard a breathtaking voice kissing her ears "happy birthday Pia". She closed her eyes and a smile glittered on her lips. She caressed his face, in half sleep. Pia (smiling): umm Abhay, is it a dream or u r here? Abhay smiled and kissed her forehead. Abhay: I am here. Pia: how did u know that it is my birthday? Abhay took her in his arms .Pia inhaled his sent and put her head on his chest, hugging him tightly. Abhay: I know everything about u. Pia: oh really! Then tell me what I am thinking right now? Abhay look down at her with a smirk and went close to her, almost touching her lips with his. Pia closed her eyes and Abhay backed of. Abhay (smiling wickedly):hmm now u r thinking about kissing me . Pia blushed and hit him lightly on the chest. Pia: that's cheating. Pia looked away from him. Pia felt something on her neck, she looked down and saw a beautiful pendant on her neck. It was round, and it contained five small heart shaped diamonds, sparkling to her eyes, on the middle there was a red stone. It was very beautiful indeed. Suddenly she heard a knock on the door, and she turned back to see Abhay but he had already left. Madhu and Arnav came, with cake and wished her happy birthday.

Next morning,Mount college

Misha hugged Pia and wished her happy birthday and ruhi gave her a card. Kabir also hugged her and gave her a teddy bear, Pia liked to be wished by her friends and she was also happy that Abhay was the first one to wish her.

Pia was walking home, thinking about Abhay, when jeh came and blocked her way. Jeh: Hi Pia. Pia gave an uneasy smile. Pia : hi Jeh: I know u try to avoid me, because ur boyfriend does not like it. Such a loyal girl..but do u know what he has been hiding from u all the way? He is wrong for u Pia, u r too innocent to understand it he is with u for a cause, and he does not deserve u.

He came close to her, but Pia backed away. Jeh: u r an angel, a sweet one and he is a blood sucking creature, he will kill u. Pia was very angry at this. Pia: just shut up Jeh! Just because I am silent it does not mean that u will utter any nonsense about Abhay. He was right, u r not worth of being my friend. Just go away from here. Jeh: u don't believe me? Ok then I will prove it to u tonight. Pia: I have no interest in seeing anything, I trust Abhay with all my heart. Jeh: u r just scared that I may be right, if u trust him then what is the problem in coming with me? Come and prove me wrong and I will never bother u. Pia: I am not scared, fine I will come with u but only to prove that u r wrong and my Abhay is right. Jeh: ok fine then see u at 12 in the jungle. Pia : ok fine.

A rush of thoughts just ran down on Pia's mind, what did she just do? She agreed to go with Jeh in the forest, where anything can harm her, knowing the fact that Jeh is not good? But he was saying bad things about Abhay, and she had to answer it.

Pia opened the door of her house, and everything was dark. Suddenly everyone jumped and shouted "surprise". Actually her friends and family had planned a surprise party for her, she was very happy when she saw Abhay with his parents. Haseena hugged her and wished her happy birthday, she gave her a gift box, when she opened it, she saw a beautiful olive green dress with black border and a little black stone work, she decided to wear it for the party. As she came down wearing that strapless knee length dress everyone looked at her in admiration. She blowed the candle, making a wish , she wished that she and Abhay could always be together. Little did she knew that what was destiny holding out for her...
