Ok, I am reviving this thread 'coz today is 1st November. Exactly one year back, we got our much loved 'Kuch Khaas' sequence.

Honestly, I drew this parallel a year back as well. Whenever I listen to 'Mere Haath Mein', I do not imagine Amir-Kajol AT ALL. It's always Mayank-Nupur for me. Similarly, the day this sequence aired, I cannot seem to listen to Kuch Khaas without imagining Abhay and Pia. I just can't seem to think about Priyanka Chopra and Arjan Bajwa.
PC and Kajol happen to be two of my favourite Bolly actresses BTW, so I don't intend any offense to them at all.
Coming back to AP, of course, we got Dil Ibadat as well towards which I have similar sentiments but my original song for them is always Kuch Khaas.
In the above video, right from where Abhay asks Pia for a dance, there is this a connection which can be felt with the couple. They're aren't too hot, too cute or too romantic here but there is a raw passion which is so evident which made this seem DARK.
Honestly, my favourite moment was when Pia tells Abhay that her dress is torn. He asks where and she shows it to him. Abhay calmly covers the portion and coolly says 'Problem solved!'☺️
And once the dance begins, I needn't say more there. EVERY eye in the room was on these two. Abhay taking the lead fiercely controlling even Pia's movement who is still confused as she is twirled around awkwardly by Abhay.
By the end of it, Abhay and Pia are only and only looking into each other's eyes with Pia dipped in Abhay's arms. That frame itself is so intense that it leaves us craving for more...
