Friends This SS of mine is inspired by the FF's of Nidhi ( Ewoyn) & Heena Mehta who are excellent writers but rest assured my story is different. With this note I begin the first chapter hope you all like it.🤗

"Ayush wake up sona ," Pia said entering the room which looks like a toy store as it is full of every kind of toys & games imaginable. In the middle of the room is a large soft & extra comfy bed with blue covers, pillows & blankets. Right now there is a small mound entirely covered with the blanket lying in the middle of the bed.

Pia smiles at this & removes the blanket. A boy of about five year old in his white & pink stripped pajamas is curled up into a ball & huddled like a rabbit with his head under his arms sleeping & dreaming his own sweet dreams.

"Ok I know you are a good boy who never wants to get late to his school so wake up or mama will use her most dangerous weapon," she says tickling with both hands the small bare pink flesh that is visible around his tummy. As if jolted by electricity the small figure instantly straightened & started writhing & shaking in uncontrollable laughter. His wind chimes like laughter are pure music to Pia.

"Mom..ma s...s..stop it, please okiz okiz I am awake," He turned staring straight at his mothers eyes giving a jolt to Pia as usual. It has been two years & yet every time Pia still feels the same jolt -half happiness & half terrible sadness- whenever she looks at her son & remembers what was missing in her life. He is his father in miniature with just some small errors. That perfect face, jawline, pink lips & those two eyes hypnotic blue eyes. Except her curly hair & her nose, his son was in all sense & purposes Abhay. Her Abhay who is not with her & will never be. He has other priorities.

"What, No pia he was never yours." Pia remainded herself again.

"Momma I don't want to go school, its boring there." complained Ayush.

Pia lovingly looked at her son & said, "You know you have to. And I know you like playing with your little friends there. Don't you? And you will learn new & interesting things there." She tried to cajole him.

Ayush hearing this folded his arm in front of his chest looked at his mother now completely annoyed "Hmph... I don't learn new things there all they teach us is ABC, 123, & Mary had a little a lamp I already know the spelling of my name my home address & can recite The National Anthem too plus, I have to suffice with making round balls out of clay dough whereas I made you an entire mud castle all by myself in our backyard I can't even jump in the swimming pool. They make us play in small air filled bath tub and I can't even give a written complain against my caretaker who sneaks sweets from my tuck boxes as I am still supposed to be a five year old boy who can't write." he finished in one go.

Pia who was stunned to hear a string of complaints coming out as a torrent from her son's pink lips burst in a fits of giggle. She gathered him in her arms & walked towards the bathroom.

Pia- "My baby if I am not much mistaken you are even younger than 5. You are actually 2 years old remember,"

"But I don wet my bed like a two year old Momma." he replied stunning his mother with his factual, simple yet innocent answer.

She gave him his brush & started getting his things ready. While Ayush got involved in amusing himself with the foam of his toothpaste Pia was immersed in her thoughts. It is not his fault that he is growing faster than normal kids both physically & mentally. he looks five when actually he will be celebrating his 2^nd Birthday in a fortnight. He is more mature & intelligent than his age. You can't expect anything less from a child who is half human & half vampire.

She shivered at the very thought. No my son is special. So what if he is half a vampire. Ayush never hurts anyone. Yes he is naughty & mischeivious & drives everyone up the wall when does not have things his own way. But apart from that he is perfect. Even when he hunts the animals to satisfiy his own basic instinct & thirst for blood he needs all Pia's cajoling & love to make him understand that he is not a monster but a special child who needs special attention. Just like in every way he is Abhay.

SPLASH A bucket full of cold water on her brought Pia back to herself.

"Ayush what is this?" asked Pia in mock anger. It was a routine bathing Aryan means bathing herself as he makes sure that his momma gets as much wet as he is.

"You were dreaming so I did it. You only told me that cold water chases sleeps away," he replied with the most saint like expression. Pia laughed & joined in the fun with her son.

"Mom will he come to pick me up? He promised we will play football in the backyard." Asked Ayush half an hour later while having his breakfast of four boiled eggs, toast & sandwiches ( he has a huge appetite & does not need to drink blood all the time & Pia loves to cook for him ).

"Has he ever broken his promise to you? Its Friday so we will all have fun today. I have some important persons to meet today after that I'll come straight to the theatre & then have dinner outside too. How is that?" she asked.

"Cool, you hardly spent time with me the past weekend," complained Ayush.

Pia was settled in London & owns a chain of boutiques & restaurants there. She single handedly looks after her business. They stay at one of the less crowded suburbs of London away from its hustle & bustle & also because Pia does not want Ayush to live as un noticed as possible from the outer world. He attends the local comprehension & is in no hurry to shift him to a bigger school. She ahs not kept in touch with any of her family & friends ever since she left India without telling anybody. She knows they were all hurt & worried for her but it is for the best.

"I am sorry sweets I promise I'll never do that again . Now be a good boy at school & remember-"

"Don't do anything that will expose you etecetra etecetra gotcha mom u remind me everyday." finished Ayush
