Abhay-Alina's affair
Abhay is in shock that his father, Chand, has told him to fall in love with Alina in STAR One's Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahaani. Alina, who has a huge crush on Abhay, finds it hard to believe that her brother Jeh has given her the green signal to go ahead.
Abhay has to please his father, but in the process, has been upsetting Piya.
When contacted, a visibly upset Piya said, "I cannot believe that Abhay is doing this to me. I do not like his closeness to Alina, and I feel jealous and insecure about it."
There are other people who are also disappointed with the Abhay-Alina relationship. Misha Dobriyal says, "I was disappointed when I got to know that Alina likes Abhay. I wanted to pair her up with Kabir. However, I am not aware about Piya and Abhay being an item."
There is another twist in the tale, as Kabir says that he isn't interested in Alina. "I'm busy trying to impress Misha. Abhay and Alina's relationship makes no difference to me, as I'm trying to woo Misha. I don't want to know about Abhay and Alina."
Danish, played by Tabrez Khan, said that he wasn't interested in the Abhay-Alina affair either, as he is busy trying to sort out his love life.
Abhay's mother Haseena Raichand said that she was initially against the idea of Alina and Abhay dating. "It was irritating to see my husband Chand giving Alina so much attention. However, then I realized that this is part of a larger plan to get back at our enemies, Dinapita and Jeh. I know that this is a fake affair."
Ritwik Dhanjani, who plays Jeh, said, "I know that Alina likes Abhay. I want to see her happy, but at the same time, I need to get what I want out of Abhay, once he is in my territory."
