Hey there,
The look on Piya's face when she saw Abhay consoling and calming Alina was pretty FIERCE if you ask me. She looked furious and acidic enough to just get up and slap the living daylights out of Alina and whacking Abhay. Jealousy, possessiveness and a bitterness about it are common to both Abhay and Piya when it comes to each-other. Abhay is comparatively subtle in his envy but Piya is not. We have seen her go mad at Abhay over T, Maya , all the other butterflies that he has tossed around. Piya has even been envious of Metz' memory. Jealousy always converts into temper and she goes after Abhay's life. It is understandable on Piya's part. Abhay has not come easy to Piya and she has literally fought Abhay to get Abhay. No wonder ,she is hypersensitive about Abhay's even passing by of other women.
But... how is it going to affect Piya, Abhay, Alina and the equations? Piya doesn't seem the kind at this moment who will understand or support Abhay's connection with Alina. Piya is a woman and she will find out in a minute that Alina has fallen in love with Abhay because of his kind angel -to-your-rescue- service persona. How is she supposed to support and be cool about Abhay's bond with Alina when we know and she will soon know that Alina loves Abhay?
We do get kicks out of thinking of a jealous Piya but at what cost? Since day 1 , Abhay has been THE UNATTAINABLE and its always been hurt , heartbreak, waiting and longing for Piya as far as he is concerned. She has been waiting , waiting and waiting for him and the moment she gets him , there comes another test or someone else to claim Abhay. You do feel bad for the girl. Loving Abhay is easy because he is such a virgin soul but keeping him is like sitting in a permanent mathematics board examination.
However, i wish Piya trusts the man in Abhay who loves her with everything that he has. He gave up Maithli and his own life for Piya - she needs to remember that and trust that. Women have come and gone in Abhay's life but he loves her and only her. Alina maybe special to him , he may even love her on a platonic ground like he has loved Misha but Piya is PIYA.
There is nothing to fear Piya. He loves you and only you. The only woman you should worry about is Maithli and she is not on the scene yet , so CHILL.
