An episode of Dhamaakedaar Patakhaas.
1. Piya
Well, once again she reminded you of the pre-leap Piya – innocent , sensitive , poignant , soft and stubborn. I wouldn't count 'in love with her Abhay' because Piya Jaiswal or Piya Dobriyaal – trusting or distrusting of Abhay , she has always loved Abhay with an unhinging insanity. She was so much in shock that Abhay was all set to stake his 'life' and reputation to save her life that till her last scene , she kept asking herself, Abhay , Misha , Pancchi that why would Abhay go to such an extent for her if he didn't love her.
Yeah, she played her question-answer rounds with Abhay and her sisters but she was not accusing , abusing or ranting. She was just sad that Abhay is not with her and why he is not with her only she knows but her memory's doors refuse to open.
She was both soft and stubborn with Abhay when instead of telling her off or screaming at her, he almost pleaded with her to understand that he cannot be with her. Piya seemed like she wanted to be angry at him but she couldn't be. She tried fighting with him , being bratty with him but Abhay's soft defense and his helpless tone didn't let her carry out her argument with him any further. So, when she hugged him and he hugged her , she was calm because she knew that no matter what Abhay says , he loves her.
But kisi ki class to lagni hi thin a? So, Misha aur Pancchi ki lag gayi. All Piya knows is that she wants Abhay back and for that to happen , she needs to know what went wrong , why he isn't with her and what has she forgotten. And , for a change , the sisters told her the truth – they don't know why Abhay is not coming back to her but AbhIya were always in love with each-other and inseparable. But there was something that Piya knew about Abhay but loved him inspite of it.
So, now, Piya wants to stop hanging between having-and-not-having Abhay , to stop waiting for his answers to get Abhay if he is not coming to her – and for that she needs her memory back. She needs to know why Abhay is not with her . And she thinks that past-life-regression can do it for her – bring her lost life and her lost Abhay back to her.
Piya was at her most sensible today , like she hasn't been in weeks. Abhay , Misha aur Pancchi ki lagaa bhi di aur band , baaja , baraat bhi nahiin niklaa.
2. Abhay
Abhay was at his sensitive and vulnerable best today . He did not say a single cross word to Piya and understood that how difficult it is for Piya to see Abay everyday , love him , deal with his attraction-repulsion-compulsion and yet not have him. He was very soft on her today or maybe too helpless and tired of these musical chairs himself.
He verbally pleaded with Piya to not keep asking him questions that he cannot answer . To stop thinking and dreaming of a 'Abhay-Piya Fairytale' because it cannot happen . To stop living a dream that he can't give her. Abhay explained to Piya like you explain to a child that it doesn't matter what they feel for each-other or what they have in between , the divide between them is too wide. He was so upset and broken that even your usually 'chaklaa-belan' Piya couldn't be angry with him.
Smart niklaa ladkaa apnaa, hmmm? Emotional Attyaachaar karke Piya ki jhaad aur maar khaane se bacch gaya. Agar jhagdaa kiya hotaa to Piya uski lagaa deti , so dukhi-aatma-mode ka use kiya.
When Abhay hugged Piya , it was more of a hug of comfort and reassurance that even if am not with you , am always next to you, watching you and watching over you.
Abhay is in no mood to get back to Piya as of now , so you need a proactive Piya to slap Abhay , box his ears and get him back in her life.
3. Alina
It takes courage to go against a family who cares two hoots about whether you are dead or alive . It takes even more courage to face their wrath and fight for your life. Alina's supernatural power is in her blood , her DNA , not in her attitude. If she had any realization and grip of who she really is , Jeh and Neel would have never dared to behave like that with her. But she doesn't . She has the soul of a human being even if she is a she-wolf.
It was SCARY the way Jeh came down on her like a growling monster – pressurizing her , terrorizing her and threatening her. Alina , maybe unimaginably powerful but right now she is just a meek, sweet, mild little girl whom everyone treats like garbage .
Sandwiched between her two dangerous brothers , I am amazed the girl had the nerve to at least run to save her life instead of just fainting out of sheer fright.
In the precap, Jeh's attack on Alina and maybe Kabir is inevitable unless Jeh has a change of heart or some miracle saves them.
4. Jeh
They say that you have no idea how dark and dangerous you can be until you face a situation that acquaints you with your dark side. These past two episodes , our Jeh has been an out-and-out sexy devil – a revenge machine, reminding you of Siddharth's school of thought.
If you look at it , its not Alina , its Jeh who has the leadership qualities to lead this werewolf clan. He has proven himself to be the ferocious , cold, intelligent and a shade diabolical leader even though he is not the heir.
His temper and its aftermath was scary and shocking today. He didn't give a damn about how injured Neel was and wanted to bite his neck off for sending Piya straight into Abhay's lap. He terrorized the hell out of Alina like a calculating Hannibal Lector of 'The Silence Of The Lambs' forcing her to admit the truth that she saved Piya.
And boy! The way he went after Alina to kill her – to the extent of turning into a werewolf and cornering her and Kabir goes to show you that just how dangerous Jeh can be.
For the first time , in that Neel-Jeh-Alina scene , I felt how scary Jeh can be .
If Jeh can run to draw out his own sister's blood because she deceived him , imagine what all he is capable of.
5. Police Inspector.
He is simply in the list because he got the SUNEHRA MAUKA to jhaadofy AbhIya together for playing chhuppa-chhuppi with the law and for a change AbhIya ne chup-chaap uski jhaad kha li.
P.S- Past life regression can take you to the memories that you have forgotten – across lifetimes , whether you believe it or not – but it is very very unlikely that your mind would have the power to unveil something that has been barred by a supernatural power. Unless, your mortal mind proves to be stronger than the supernatural force – its definitely not possible on the human level unless you and your psychic powers are extraordinary. Piya has not lost her memory- a powerful vampire has blocked it.
