I think you are right. Abhay loves Piya and she loves him - their love is divine and the one of soulmates. But this love can never be justified to sacrifice the vampire clan. Abhay already broke a rule by giving that locket to Piya and now , to save Piya , he may end up giving his clan a feeling of betrayal.

As usual great post, loved the way you described each and ever emotion of all the characters.

Why Alina did not convince Jay that using Pia was not right. Instead all she wanted Abhay should not be harmed, she did not care that an innocent Pia is going to be used.

I feel she is going to soon realize that what Pia means to Abhay. If Pia gets hurt, then Abhay wont spare any of them.

About Abhay being leader of a vampire clan. Anyone in his place would feel the apprehension. As this is a big responsibility. We all know what he wants is to be a human again and be with Pia. Which he wont be able to, Lets see what he chooses. Love or responsibility.
