Piya, this time , you stop it.

No am not in a mood to bash Piya but I definitely will like to question that strange dynamic of her character and the writer who decides her character graph.
When Abhay says that he loves Piya , pampers her , is with her ' he is the greatest man on this earth for her. But the moment the same Abhay drives her away , is rude to her , keeps her away from himself ' he turns resident evil , hmmm?
Explain this to me if someone has understood this weird twist of her brain. Taking the most recent example of the Dipu case. Piya saw Abhay 'kill' Dipz , raised furor, accused him, abused him , go him arrested. Fine, understood. Piya sees Dipz alive and well but still suspects Abhay because of what she saw . Still, understood. Cut to ' Abhay says he loves Piya , looks after her , is loving and passionate to her. All accusations are forgotten and she flies to heaven. Next day , she is still glowing in Abhay's love and he appears an angel to her with a halo and wings. Cut to ' Abhay tells her that she should forget what he said and that they are not together. Piya gets hurt and furious ' UNDERSTOOD. She gets attacked by some unseen force ' mind it , she doesn't SEE Abhay attacking her. He comes to see how she is and suddenly , she remembers that Abhay is evil and 'killed' Dipannita and tells him to get lost. NOT UNDERSTOOD. As long as Abhay was this intense loving soulmate in her arms ' everything was lovely and pink ' Dipannita , the horrific killing and the blah were conveniently forgotten . But the moment Abhay retraced his steps , she got rid of her selective amnesia and 'remembered' that Abhay is a murderer? '..
What are these permutations and combinations of behavior , Piya? Your judgment , sense of right an wrong depend on objective POV or on Abhay's behavior with you?
Don't give me the excuse or the reasoning that Abhay has messed up her head , erased her memory , plays with her feelings and the works. Even if I accept everything , which I do , with or without blame on Abhay ' I don't think Abhay erased Piya's sensibility, rationality or that basic sense of right and wrong.
Piya's recent memory is intact , right? Has she forgotten that she is alive because Abhay has kept her alive? Is she so stupid that she can't understand that even if Abhay was a killer , he doesn't need to kill Piya over Dipu 'coz Dipu is alive and hopping like a wildcat?
Piya has the right to hate Abhay for the ping-pongs he does with her heart but she has no right to punish or accuse Abhay of things that Abhay didn't do. Why tell him to stay away ? Isn't he staying away , Piya? What hasn't he done to keep you away and stay away from you? Instead of telling Abhay to stay away Piya , you MAKE UP YOUR MIND and decide whether you want to stay away from Abhay or stalk him.
I am sorry if am coming down harsh on Piya but this irrational behavior and these impulsive judgments look less like anything close to logic and more like Piya's slap to Abhay for not coming back to her. Nishi's post was funny but I think there is a serious catch to it. Sometimes , you wonder if Piya's 'JUDGMENT' of Abhay actually depends on Abhay's acceptance and reciprocation of Piya's feelings?
This combined hatred against Abhay irritates the hell out of you at times. Mount College hates him because he minds his own business and doesn't believe in hanging out with them. Dobriyaals keep blaming him for heartbreaks of the daughters without taking a good look at their own daughters. Jeh and gang hate him for killing the son of the family conveniently forgetting that the son was at fault too. Sid hated him because Metz loved Abhay. Metz punished and almost finished Abhay because he dared to move on from her and love Piya. Piya hates him for the sole reason that she doesn't have him ( yes, that is how her head is functioning at the moment).Wonderful. Abhay risked his life for 99% of these people and still, he remains the villain.
For once , it was nice to see Alina stand up for Abhay and giving Jeh a snapshot of reality. Kill Abhay . Abhay this and Abhay that but what did your own blood do? Its fine if everyone hates Abhay , but hate him for THE RIGHT REASONS. It reminded me of how fiercely Piya used to protect Abhay against even her own father. The kindness , the innocence and the selfless love that won Abhay's heart. Abhay , go back to Piya because when you are with her , she is NORMAL. 😆
P.S- The best scenes were the family scenes. Alina driving sense into Jeh and handling his hysteria. The Raichand handlock and the family's unity . Loved the way Abhay protected his mother and handled Arnab. Oh , and Piya can very well forget about the locket because if Abhay gives it back to her ' she will perhaps accuse him of trying to kill her by using her locket. Who knows.
