Hey, Even I thought the same. How could our attitude wala Abhay Raichand forget his standard dialogue from " Mein Andhera hoon, mujhse door raho. Mujhe tumhe protect karna hai, You deserve a better life" to " You are the the reason for my existence, You are light of my dark life. You breathed life into my dead soul, My today,My hopes are with you"š Our ever selfless guy Abhay, who always believes in giving, has accepted that he also needs , in fact yearns for something for himself, to be loved, to be accepted, to be wanted.
Abhay and accepting this... May be in that situation, his mind gave in to his heart and he just couldn't control his feelings that he expressed to Pia what he normally says only to himself and including his favourite statement " Though you are my life, you need to stay away from me as I am dangerous"
Did he, for a moment feel that he and Pia are one and the same and his heart is crying out to him, begging him to listen.
He was so vulnerable at that moment, that its hard to believe he is saying all this with some reason behind. This really seems to be a sincere confession- speaking his heart out.

Thats why Piya once said, " Tum ek hi pal mein meri duniya badal dete ho"
Abhay, please listen to what your heart says and put your theories aside. Love is not always giving, it is also taking. Please do not reject/refuse what is yours as you really deserve it and you have earned it.
