Even when she did date him for a while, her attitude was very casual, which hurt Neel. However, he was so blindly in love that he put up with her tantrums. After a few misunderstandings, Panchi broke up with Neel, and that broke his heart. Yet, life had something else in store for him. A drunk Panchi ended up getting engaged to him in the presence of their families. Post the engagement, instead of being thrilled with getting the love of his life, Neel has changed. We ask him about his sudden change of attitude and question him about his real motive.
Neel explains his new attitude. "I was in love with Panchi when I initially met her. In fact, I think it was love at first sight, but the way she treated me back then was unacceptable. She was mean and rude, and so not sensitive. She used me and many other guys for fun, and believed in casual dating. She never gave the other person's feelings a second thought. I was happy to know that Mom was thinking of our engagement and thrilled when we did announce the engagement. Now, as the wedding preparations are on, I feel I need to set a few things straight. Earlier, I didn't have the right to put down my demands or terms, but now that I am her fianc, I can throw her attitude back in her face. I am going to teach her a lesson in life that she will never forget. I don't want her to be so callous about love, relationships and guys. She used guys as her boy toys. I want her to feel as bad as I did when we were dating. I am angry and hurting, and I want her to hurt too. I want her to know what it feels like to lose hope, to lose someone."
What are his Neel's plans for Panchi now? When questioned about this, Neel replies, "I was madly in love and obsessed with her earlier. Had she reciprocated back then, who knows what would have happened? But she broke my heart, and the tables turned. Today, we are engaged, and she can't do as she wishes. She has to fall in line due to her family's wishes and happiness. She is exactly where I want her. I have told her that I will go through the whole marriage shindig till the D day. I will dump her on her wedding day, so that she knows how it feels like to be humiliated. I will ensure that her third relationship breaks off too!! Yes, you could say that I have become a jerk."
What does love mean to him today? "I still believe in love completely, but I don't feel it is fair when people play with other people's emotions without a second thought," Neel angrily states.
Neel's brother Jay too has been instigating him about Panchi, always pointing out her bad qualities. Is Jay supporting Neel's plans? "No. In fact. Jay was shocked when I told him that I was going to ruin Panchi's life. He tried to pacify me, but I didn't pay attention to him. He feels Panchi was wrong to casually date so many guys. He feels that post the engagement, I am wrong in my attitude towards her. I told him that I am going to dictate this relationship now," Neel says.
Even as Neel and Panchi's relationship goes through a rough patch, there are other interesting events in store on the show. As a STAROne.in source reveals, "In tonight's episode, Piya will be out on a date, where she will get a bit drunk, and the guys with her will try to misbehave with her. Abhay will sweep in and save her, but leave the dropping-her-off-home part to Jay. Jay will take her home and tuck her into bed. Arnab will see vampire bites on Pia's throat and assume that Sid is back, but when the bites disappear the next morning, he will be surprised."
Apart from the show, there has been considerable adventure happening on the sets of Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani as well. The cast and crew of the show faced a huge scare on Monday, when part of the sets caught fire. A source informs, "One of the make-up rooms caught fire, which spread around soon, and it turned into a massive fire."
Piya, aka Sukirti Kandpal, recalls the scary incident, "I was standing near the make-up room but, luckily, was called for a shot a few minutes before it caught fire. I suddenly noticed the fire. I was stunned, and didn't understand how to react. I just ran in the other direction along with the crew. My make-up dadas Deepak and Karan came to my rescue, and helped me to somehow get my stuff out of the room. I feel so lucky to be safe. This incident gave me an insight into how important life is, and I value it much more now. I am happier than ever with life now. I am happy that God has given me so many privileges, and also that he protected me during such a terrible incident."
Abhay aka Vivian says, "There was a massive fire on the sets but, luckily, there were no casualties. Thankfully, everyone is safe."
Where will Neel's misplaced attitude take him? Will it cost him, or will Panchi have to pay the price of the tussle in their relationship?
