Your work is too mature for them. 😆 It's their fault, not yours. I enjoy yours, Akki's, Divya Di, etc. You guys actually WRITE. 😊 oh and Mais, Kinza also. 😆

@ Kanky - Well you see I understand it must be painful but then there are higher expectations from you because people are aware that you have the capability. If I don't have the capability, there are no expectations. Being gifted is a two edged sword. On one hand you get all the adulation while on the other you get the criticism. So it depends on what you like more :)

And as far as routine is concerned, I HATE routines😆 I am a very spontaneous person😛 And really not much into TV at all. I am more of a nature and sports lover so I spend my time doing things that don't include TV and laptops and even my cell phone😆 The only time I sit in front of the TV is when big sporting tournaments are on [NHL final today and Canucks will SO kick Bruins' ass :D]😆 I can safely say the TV remote enjoys being at my place since I don't bother it too much😆


@ Nidheya - Well sometimes I know that people simply don't want to hurt anyone's feelings so they only praise you😆 I try to do that too sometimes but most of time if the writing is WAY below my standards then I don't bother commenting because I hate lying :) Plus I believe your writing skills can only be truly evaluated are if you make your own characters and storyline. If you use characters that people are already aware of, they are going to be bringing in their prejudices or preconceived notions regarding those characters before reading your writing so in the end their evaluation will be biased.


@ Mais - Well maybe since I am not from India, it explains why I never see most of you😆 I have weird timing for I-F, I am hardly here on a SET time😆


@ Nidhi - STOP confusing me people :| Why do we have so many Nidhis in here? I am just going to start calling you all by some random names I come up with. Don't blame me if you don't like them😃😆

no seriously, minus the whole being modest part...my exams were REALLY bad...oh gosh...I talked to Mamma about it today...she said she'll talk to Papa about it...i really want to repeat my year if I (GOD FORBID) flunk even one subject 😕

I find people faulty against me, honestly. Because I feel there's no way we can ever match, and that if I can ever write a character like A's Mayank in AYNIL or if I'd be able to imagine Mayank and Nupur like Kinza. You could say, my style is distinctively patent.

Not to sound rude Kanks, but see you use such fancy vocab, not many people would understand. That's the problem. Try something simpler. :) It's an honest opinion, I hope am not being too harsh. 😃

I second that! 😆 Although I haven't read any of your work but as a general audience, big words and complex analogies scare the readers away.
