Its rare, actually. Usually the audience is on the heroine's side unless its a case like Sujal Garewal which happens once in a while. But in this show, you have the audience sympathizing and unfailingly supporting Abhay over Piya. Some characters just seep into you, i think.

I've seen a bit of all and trust me, I prefer Nupur, Gunjan, Pia and Riddhima over Tulsi, Parvati, Prerna and Kusum ANY GIVEN DAY! I never relate to these overly good protagonists. Flawed people are so much more relatable and real <33
