What are you missing about the show-the most?
I miss Abhay on the show. I miss the fact that he isn't in the serial. When I was shooting, I wouldn't get time to check out the telecast, but now that I am on a break, I have been keeping track of what is happening on the show and watching the episodes too. The story has moved forward and I feel bad that I am not in it.

What is the most endearing, exciting thing about doing PKYEK?
Each and every day on the show is a discovery. The plot, the screenplay, the scenes, the dialogues all are exciting for me.
Elina - Just hope that all confusions will b clear in the upcoming episodes and wish that Pia's memory come back as soon as possible..
When you wiped off Pia's memory, what were you expecting? Now do you wish she remembers it all?
I wanted Pia to be happy and start a new life. I wanted her to forget all the bad incidents and the hurt in her past and be happy in her future. As for what I want now, I don't know. I guess, I just want her to be happy with or without me.

What do you think of Pia's new look?
Change is always good so it is cool to see that Balaji has spent money and got new chic looks for Pia, Panchi and Misha. They have experimented with the look and style and it works.

What do you think of the new characters Jay and Neel?
First of all, I would like to say that I feel it is unfair to compare two actors. I don't approve of comparison. Every person has their own individuality and identity. Jay is the parallel lead of the show and Balaji must have known he is competent to cast him in the show. If not, he wouldn't have been there. I think Jay is a far better actor than I am as he has a theatre background and experience. I learnt acting on the job.

How will Abhay re-enter the show?
You guys must have seen the promos, so just wait and watch as the story unfolds. There are some interesting times ahead on your favourite show Pyaar Ke Yeh Ek Kahaani.

Are you missing acting or enjoying the break?
Both. I miss my crew, my director, co-actors and everyone else. When we would shoot, it never felt like we were working. Work happened smoothly so it was fun. But I am enjoying the break as well because I haven't got one since a really long time. I had been working non stop so this break is welcome. I have been chilling out, enjoying playing football and even gymming. I haven't been to the gym since 8 months now and I even put on bit of weight. With hectic shooting schedules, I never got any spare time to go to the gym so during this break I worked out and lost the extra weight. But I guess God wants me to work, so by His grace, I got offers to perform in two award shows Big and Star Gold, since last few days I have been rehearsing for them.
ODHANI -plz plz plz bring back abhay as quick as possible. we r missing u abhay.
How do you react when fans gush over you?
It feels good obviously when fans talk about your work and praise it. I feel that all my hard work has paid off. We do shows for our fans and viewers so their response is most important to us. I have been reading lot of comments on Facebook and my Twitter account and even replying to as many people as possible. It is gratifying to know so many people love me, love my work, love Abhay and our show.

Have you heard any such thing? How do you deal with personal or professional rumours?
I haven't heard any rumours. And as far as tackling them goes, well rumours by definition mean some thing that is a hearsay. It is not a confirmed fact. I don't pay attention to rumours and being an actor, we come across many rumours about us, our work and personal life. If I start getting worked up about everything, then I wouldn't be able to work at all. I don't think about them at all. I believe in giving my best to my show and my audience.

How particular are you about continuity?
I have easily manageable outfits on the show so continuity isn't really an issue for me. Balaji wanted Abhay to don black always and as it is chosen for the character, it isn't my choice. I look at Abhay's style as an edge because he stands out among all characters on television. The outfit, the look, the colour defines Abhay. Fans too love Abhay and have commented saying Abhay is so neat, cool and smart. But let me tell you something, all clothes I wear on the show are from my personal collection. The suits, shoes, denims too. A few 190 episodes ago, Balaji got a jacket for Abhay though. Even the lens I wear on screen are mine and not from the production house.
