Such a crap idea. Drinking blood of her doppelganger would make her immortal? Makes no sense.

In Harry Potter Voldemort took Harry's blood to make himself invincible as his blood carried Lily's sacrifice, though this plan actually backfired and bore reverse result. But what is the connection here between Piya and Maithili's blood?

Is there something like this in TVD?
