Believe me, I have been saying exactly the same thing in past few posts. People have placed too much expectations on their favourites.
Frankly speaking, I think the existence of these TV news portals like Wassup, SBS and SBB etc, itself is an insult to journalism. Because I haven't seen much difference in their way of reporting and selling Masala Chaat. They are interested in only gossips where they can add their own tadka and present before the viewers. It's better we don't expect anything sensible from them.
Secondly, I have seen people saying that as viewers, its their 'right to get interviews' of their favourite actors/couples. But I am afraid it isn't. The job of the actors begin with the director saying 'action' and it ends with his 'cut'. After that the actors are free to do whatever they wish - make public appearances with whoever they feel like, attend parties or pose before camera with their girlfriends - neither can anyone complain, nor are the actors answerable to anyone. They are NOT obliged to give any interviews with their co-stars. Giving Interviews form a part of their personal life and hence its a personal choice, its not a professional obligation.
Thirdly, I agree that these days media is covering ViVah more than necessary. And it seems they are interested in their lovelife, marriage and honeymoon more than their careers. Its quite possible that this might be a coincidence - perhaps they get Vivian and Vahbbiz together every time they visit the sets. Or perhaps Vivian and Vahbbiz doesn't wish to be interviewed with anyone other than each other. I cannot say. But in either case, we cannot complain even if we don't like it. Neither can we demand them to be interviewed with their onscreen partners. As I said, its completely upto them to decide whether they wish to be interviewed or with whom.
Lastly there's a notion that Panchi/Vahbbiz is eclipsing Piya/Sukirti. Well the answer is yes and no. Vahbbiz is eclipsing Sukirti in terms of appearance with Vivian- yes. But then we can hardly complain about that. Its purely their personal choice - whom to appear with and whom not to. But is Panchi sidelining Piya - a Big NO. Piya is still the lead and is getting the space, time and importance that she deserves while Panchi, as a supporting character gets her own due. I feel this should be more than enough for the fans of the onscreen couple AbhIya.
