Siddhant's film goes to Cannes
Siddhant Karmick is on seventh heaven as his hard work has paid off. The actor who is busy shooting for Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani, acted in a short film ? Au Revoir which will now be screened at the Cannes film festival.
Siddhant Karmick is on seventh heaven as his hard work has paid off. The actor who is busy shooting for Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani, acted in a short film ? Au Revoir which will now be screened at the Cannes film festival.
Siddhant plays the main lead in the film that is the story about a young guy and girl living in Mumbai. The film is 9 minutes long.
An excited Siddhant when contacted reveals " We shot the film in Feburary. It was very hectic as I used to shoot for Au Revoir in the morning and Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani at night."
Speaking about how he bagged the role Siddhant reveals " The director Jean Louis Carrasco had come to India to shoot an ad film with Priyanka Chopra. He suddenly decided to shoot Au Revoir and one of my co-actors recommended my name to play the main lead. I decided to do the film for fun and never expected that it would be selected for the Cannes film festival. I am totally over the moon, believe me I am jumping with joy and doing handstands."
