I have watched only a couple of episodes of TVD but not enough to understand positivity in Damon's character. This is the reason when I saw the extreme evilness in Sid, it reminded me of Voldy.

Abhay claimed initially in his conversation with Chandeena that he has never attacked humans. May be BT indianised a bit to make the hero look less evil.
