Today belongs to the Men In Black
Hey people,
Okay , I am gonna kick off with the most engrossing and engaging part of today's episode – the last five minutes. Siddharth arriving in the lives of the Raichands. And a totally new Sid whom we have not seen in these 4 weeks of knowing him.
Chaand Raichand wondered who was this mystery man who had bid so high for that statue and made him pay an extra 1.5 crore. He knew that there was a Siddharth in the running but never in his wildest thoughts had he thought that the young suave man who is going to turn and look back at him with that dark grin is his own Siddharth – his vampire 'son' whom he perhaps hasn't seen in the longest of time.
No, Chaand doesn't give you those typical Ekta Kapoor soap shocked reactions in 5-6 quick cuts , camera panning and deafening music in the background. The shock comes and goes just as subtle as Chaand's reactions have always been. But you can see that Chaand is definitely not happy to see Sid. Siddharth , keeping that charming dark grin and a small ridiculing smile on his face, walks to his father's table and gives him an abrasive and threatening " Hi Dad!" ……Sid sits opposite him and as the background score changes , you know that even though Sid's charming grin is still intact on his gorgeous face , he is a different man now. The real Sid. Or rather the beginning of his un-layering.
As a simmering , furious ,shocked but totally in-control Chaand listens quietly, Sid talks to him with so much pseudo-love with acid thrown in that you can clearly see how much venom Sid has inside him. He tells Chaand that he is back in town and back in their lives because he wants to mess up everything. Because Chaand disowned him years ago , threw him out of the house. It is a treat watching Sid cut his father up with so much fake love and that grinning smile. For a change , you don't see that calmness on Chaand's face. His expression tells you just how dangerous and how bad a news Sid really is. Chaand seems to be thinking about the storms that Sid will bring rather than fretting over why this black sheep is back. Sid tells him in the sweetest threatening way that even if Chaand loses temper , its no use. Sid throws his power as a vampire in Chaand's face. So , you get it, Dad? I am more powerful than you and its no use revealing your fangs to me. Chaand doesn't react – you have to hand it to this man. His vampy son is sitting in front of him , threatening him , making fun of him , ridiculing him but Chaand just simmers and doesn't react.
And then, comes the most dramatic moment of the 22 minutes. Abhay , who sensed Sid was nearing from that certain footage that he saw at home on TV….well, drawn like a magnet to the arrival of his elder brother arrives on the scene. Here! You've just got to see just how Sid's expression totally changes. I mean, TOTALLY.
Abhay enters the conference hall and Sid turns to look at him. The grin, the evil smile, the ridiculing countenance and the cool-as-a-cucumber demenour go out of the window. Sid's face softens for a fleeting second as his eyes blink on their own upon seeing Abhay. For a few fleeting seconds , you actually see a flight of emotion cross Sid's face. You don't see it when he looked at Chaand , you see it only now when he looks at Abhay. Of course, Sid's jaw tightens immediately and Abhay looks so furious , disgusted and hateful that you expect him to pounce on Sid anytime. Abhay really hates him, it seems. Just look at that animal anger on his face upon sighting Sid.
I hope Siddhanth Karnick got his expressions right as Sid because if the last few seconds are anything to go by , the look that Sid gave Abhay upon seeing him was not of hatred or his standard darkness. It was something soft even if for a few seconds. Never mind that Sid had just called Abhay " useless" a few minutes ago.
Anyway , the look exchange is enough to assure you that Siddhanth and Vivian are going to have some HOT brotherhood chemistry. They have it in them and you can expect their scenes to be powerpacked. I like how Abhay's rugged , rough good looks with a heroic persona and intense sexuality are pitted against Sid's smooth , sophisticated and charming handsome personality with a dash of flamboyant physicality.
On a lighter note, Abhay truly has some SACCHA PYAAR for Sid! He figured him out from a TV news piece and went running to see him. Awwwwwww…..Beta, itni upgraded powers to Piya ke liye bhi kabhi kaam nahiin ki, hmmm?
As for the rest , well, Abhay-Sid ruled the episode. On one side , you had this passionate , protective Abhay engulfing Piya into himself with all the love that he is capable of . And Piya , having fallen into the habit that Abhay is always by her side , calls him an angel and they hug each-other. It was beautiful. They are together even when they are not. Its Abhay and Piya , always. I loved the culmination of that scene in a hug where a lot was left unsaid simply because they don't need words.
And Siddharth! The guy can actually make you cough on whatever you are eating or drinking. He called Danish ….. " RADISH" …Can you believe that? It is such fun when he warns Radish , I mean Danish in the sweetest loving way , takes Pancchi away by the waist and punches the living daylights out of Dan by sensing him. But don't be fooled by Sid's smiles …. When he told Dan " I am gonna kill you" , he MEANT it. I am not judging or deciphering Sid. He is like Abhay – COMPLICATED.
Danish ki bhi kya kismet hai! Dono bhaaiyon se maar khaayi but sudharne ka koi scope nahiin hai. Humph! Someday , Abhay and Sid will have him for dinner, trust me.
Piya –Madhu? Well, what can you say, ppz. Piya is a hurt child and as I said before , you can't expect miracles in one day. But Madhu was so motherly and compassionate in this scene.
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! I got to see my Haseena. She is MAGIC and we need more of her on the show.
But hey! ROUND OF APPLAUSE. The day belonged to the Raichand Men. Remember what Chaand said - " Whenever there is a new player, the dimensions of the game change." Sid is that player and yeah , with the brothers locking hearts and horns , the dimensions of this show are all set to change provided the writers have the talent of the kind that TVD writers possess. The writing of that show is absolute brilliance and we need something as powerful and pregnant as that .
P.S- The Raichands and the whole supernatural angle brings an aura to this show – a certain dark magic. I mean today we had so less of Abhay-Piya but the entire second half had you hooked. Point being that the magic may lie in Abhay-Piya but the HOOK lies in creating a labyrinth of mysteries and tracks which keep your audience hooked.
Love and luck always,❤️
GOD bless everyone. 🤗
