its quite clear that this show is copying The Twlight Saga and so is The Vampire Diaries...but the question is who copies better...😆...and comparison is UNAVOIDABLE
Since i never saw TVD so i will compare with Twilight..
1-> I think Piya's character is more consistent than Bella (TILL NOW 😛)..reason being- Bella gets all hanging b/w Edward and Jacob, hugging here kissing there, all messed up...infact i felt pity on both the guys who were lot hotter & better than her even on their worst days 😛
anyways Piya on the other hand is like -
Piya : i m sure Abhay is Maya's child father but still i cant stop having romantic dreams with him lol...i will espy him, try to expose him that he is disgusting, hate him, he's arrogant rude etc etc but still i want him to save me every time i get in trouble, get jealous of Maya and T and even Maithli & so on...(as Piya herself told Kabir) "usne mujhe bahut takleef di phir bhi main Abhay se pyar karti thi..i hated him but i loved him Kabir...maine hamesha Abhay se pyar kiya hai"...and will dump Kabir, poor guy!! (was never there in the picture anyways unlike Jacob)
2-> Abhay's mechanical behaviour - Edward was not as mechanical as Abhay is...he was more humanly except for his pale appearance....but Abhay, the way he walks, talks, his action and the way he stares wow....i m sure every1 notices so i dont need to explain this.. 😊
3-> Similarity - the promo says "ab faisla mere dil ko lena hai ki pyar me jeena hai ya mar jana hai"....and again they r on Twilight track...Piya will want to be a Vampire herself so that she can live with Abhay foreverrr and the later will obviously not agree to turn her into a monster...greatttt awesummm....
But the question is : Where r the negative characters? where are the Werewolves?...story is incomplete w/o them...so many suspicious characters around like Shanaya, Siddharth, Shourya etc etc...who knows who or WHAT are they LOL
