Piya dreams of a tender & loving Abhay
It was a scene of Piya's dreams. A sneak peek into the heart of this lovelorn teenager who fears looking inside and confronting her emotions for the man she is falling in love with.
When you see a dreamy looking Abhay , shrouded in black amidst the snow and looking at Piya with his brilliant eyes , you see the man that Piya wants to see in Abhay – tender , compassionate , loving and protective. And when he calls out to her, Piya has no option except running out into the snow and landing into his arms. The Abhay she sees in front of him is the Abhay that she dreams of . He tells her that he can no longer fight the obvious and that he loves her . He takes her in his arms and almost places his face on her's. And then, a confused but totally besotted Piya tells him that she loves him…….And then, her mind plays games as the jacket comes into play and she snaps out of what she actually wants her life to be – a blissful future with Abhay – a man she loves and a man who loves her back.
There was no intensity in the scene but amazing tenderness , a dream like quality as it was supposed to be and the softest Abhay that is possible. We saw the Abhay that Piya wishes for and dreams of and how strongly she is connected to him – to an extent where he not only invades her thoughts and her feelings but her dreams as well. You feel sad for her when she looks so helpless and taken in at Abhay's tender touch and words. Loving a man like Abhay takes courage and a lot of madness. She has the courage but madness? It might be a degree or two higher than what we can imagine.
The scene reminds you of vampire tales when vampires invade your dreams before invading your heart.
My fave moment was when Piya saw Abhay standing down in the snow and looking up at her. It is quite a haunting image if you look at it. And Abhay closing in on her face was beautiful.
