It kicked off quite late but once it did the salsa swing was in the air at JW Marriott on Thursday night at the music launch of Vikram Bhatt's (Creative Head, ASA Film Pvt Ltd) latest flick 'Mumbai Salsa'.
Bhatt was in a formal white shirt as though it was just another day in the office for him. Alisha Chinai, on the other hand, presented a technicolour picture, perhaps matching the movie soon to erupt on the big screen.
Talking about big, looking slim and trim was the new and improved Adnan Sami, the music director of the film. And we don't know what it was that kept them in splits, but Alisha and Adnan just couldn't stop laughing!
Conversations centred around the pulsating music of the film, and lyricist Sameer was complimented on his simple yet exhilarating lyrics.
Looking pleased as punch was the film's director Manoj Tyagi and producers Surendra Sharma, MD, ASA Film Pvt Ltd, Amita Bishnoi and Bhagwanti Gabrani.
It was one happy picture as they posed with the album along with the entire starcast: Raymond Irani, Vir Das, Dilip Thadeshwar, Indraneil Sengupta, Amruta Khanvilkar, Manjari Fadnis, Neelam Chauhan and American girl Linda Arsenio.
Coming in late and hence not getting into the frame was Denzil Smith who also acts in the movie. And there were a few 'surprise' stars present too, like Bobby Deol and Nagma. And besides the music, there were cool cocktails and a delightful dinner.
