Today's update is quite longer than the usual ones, so I apologize for that. It is lengthy because I wanted to explain a few things in detail. If you don't want to read the entire update, here is a brief summary of it:
- Vikrant, Dhanraj and Akash plan to kill Krishna.
~~TODAYS UPDATE~~
Madhvi started saying "Bauji I was just..." but Vikrant raised his hand as if he was asking her to stop, which she did. "When I have already put an end to this discussion, why are you repeatedly suspecting Mantra?" he asked sternly. Poornima tried defending Madhvi by saying that she wasn't living with them when Mantra and Radhika were small so she just found it a little odd that currently he seemed so cut off from them. Vikrant told Madhvi that she should stay within her maryada and mind her own business instead of putting forward her opinion about things she didn't know. "Bauji, I am the daughter-in-law of this house. I am part of this family. What goes on here is of my concern, whether you like it or not." replied Madhvi in a respectful but determined tone. Vikrant remained speechless for a few seconds and then said "Well, keep sharing your baseless concerns with the women of the house. I make the decisions over here. Any person I trust will have to be trusted by everyone, whether you like it or not!" Then he stormed out of the kitchen.
Jitisha opened her eyes and saw Krishna, Radhika, Addy, and Mr & Mrs Sahay standing by her bedside. She quickly sat up. "Who are you?" she asked Krishna. He told her that he was Shyaam. "That can't be true! I saw your death with my own eyes." she replied. He said that he and Radhika were born again. Jitisha told them she didn't know that the concept of rebirth actually existed. Radhika said that in their case it did, because they've died and been born three times by now, to reunite with each other. After some more convincing, Jitisha started crying. "Please forgive me Shyaam. I am your culprit. I gave you so much pain even though friends are supposed to give each other happiness. Main tumhari gunegaar hoon." Krishna hugged her and said that whatever happened wasn't her fault. "You were doing what anyone would have done in your position. Addy told me that you begged your father to let me and Radha unite. I am happy that you realized where my happiness lied and sacrificed you love for it. Those who give up their desires for the sake of others are considered to be mahan (great). And you are mahan."
After everything clamed down, Jitisha asked "How did you...how did you know where to find us? And how did you meet each other?" Then Addy told Krishna "Yaar Shyaam, you must be tired of repeating your story to every person who meets you here. I think you should write a book titled 'A tale of three births' and explain everything from your first janam to the current one. That way, whenever someone asks you these types of questions, just hand them a copy of the book!" Everyone laughed. While the women were gossiping, Addy and Krishna went outside. "You really made Jitisha a lot more happy today. The guilt that she carried for 25 years, was reduced because you forgave her. I'm glad that she is feeling better" said Addy. "By the way, since when did you start worrying so much about her?" Krishna asked him. Addy stammered and tried to change the subject, but Krishna wasn't ready to give up. "I don't like to see her in pain...you know, just for the sake of humanity." Addy said. Krishna smiled devilishly and commented "Acha, to yeh sab sirf insaniyat ke naate hai ya phir...baat kuch aur hai?" he asked in a teasing way. Addy gave him a playful punch and said that he was assuming too much about this situation. Later, Jitisha went back her own house.
During the next day, Mantra arrived and greeted everyone. Radhika took him into the living room, where they sat down and began chatting. Radhika apologized for not being able to spend enough time with him due to circumstances, and he said that if he knew she was newly married, he wouldn't have come to India at a time when she was having her honeymoon. Radhika asked him about his life in America. He made up answers, based on what Vikrant had told him to say. Then they started talking about their childhood. "You have surely changed a lot. Not to mention that you have become more good-looking than before" Radhika teased. She asked him if he missed any of his other friends from their class. What shall I say now? Vikrant never mentioned any 'other' friends that I am supposed to be close to, Mantra thought to himself. "Ummm...yes ofcourse I missed others...now what was her name...that girl in our class..." he said, making things up uncomfortably. "You mean Aditi?" Radhika asked. "Yeah....yeah Aditi! That's exactly who I mean!" he said, without really having a clue about who Aditi was. "She and I always kept in touch. We're best friends...actually, we were best friends." said Radhika and got a little upset. "You see, I was engaged to her brother Uday..."
Krishna was in his room, feeling a little irritated by Mantra. Can't he leave me and Radhika alone? What's his problem anyways? He just keeps going wherever we are! He thought. Just then his phone rang and he answered it. He heard Madhvi's voice on the other end. "Hello Bua Ma! How are you?" he asked. Madhvi replied that she was fine, and had called him to see how he and Radhika were doing. Krishna mentioned that they were fine, but he would have been happier if Mantra hadn't been around them 24 hours a day. "Krishna, I don't want to worry you or anything, but there is something that I need to share with you regarding Mantra." said Madhvi. Then she told him about her and Yash's conversation with Vikrant about Mantra's parents not calling them even once, Mantra disappearing everytime Radhika went somewhere, and Mantra's "friend" living in the same city where Radhika currently stays with the Sahays.
Meanwhile, Radhika was telling Mantra about what happened after she got engaged to Uday, along with how Krishna rescued her and how she ended up living with the Rathores. She mentioned how she started falling for Krishna and they had to elope after their families refused to let them unite. When she came to the part where she and Krishna remembered their past, Mantra laughed sarcastically and said "Come on, that sounds too far-fetched. You are saying that you were lovers during not only one or two, but three janams?" Radhika said that it was true. "Are you sure you aren't kidding, Radhika?" he asked. "Look, If you're having such a hard time believing her, then why don't you just get up and leave? Nobody forced you to stay and listen to her!" said someone. Radhika and Mantra turned around to see Krishna standing near the door, looking angry. Krishna began accusing Mantra of not respecting his so-called friend Radhika's feelings by mocking her story. Mantra said that he was only joking and didn't mean to sound rude.
Radhika tried to calm things down by saying that she didn't really mind what Mantra said, but it was of no use as Krishna continued to argue. "You have no clue about what we had to go through to be together. Our story may seem like a silly little fairytale to you, but it holds a lot of importance for us!" he said. "Krishna, you are misunderstanding me. Radhika is my friend and I was only pulling her leg. Sorry if I offended you." replied Mantra. Then he apologized to Radhika and left. She tried to stop him but he said that they can talk later. "Why did you over-react like that?" Radhika asked Krishna after Mantra had gone. "Because I didn't like the way he scornfully made fun of what you were saying" he replied. Radhika told him that Mantra didn't do that on purpose. "Almost everyone we met had a hard time believeing our story, including Mantra. I don't understand why you are so bothered by him!" she told him. Krishna said "I spoke to Bua Ma a few minutes ago, okay? She said that..." Just then Mr.Sahay came in, so Krishna and Radhika stopped arguing.
Mr.Sahay seemed tense so Krishna asked him if everything was okay. "Yes, it's just that I'm facing problems in business." said Mr.Sahay, and continued that not many people wanted to invest in his company anymore due to the major financial loss that he suffered a few weeks ago. Krishna assured him that things would get better soon, as Mr.Sahay's company had a good reputation. Radhika said that maybe they could so something to help. "Yes, Dad. After all, I never took work seriously before. 25 years ago I didn't get the chance to be a hard-working son who helps run his father's business...this time I seriously want to use my abilities to the best." said Krishna. Mr.Sahay smiled and said that he would be more than happy if Krishna helped him, but prospects weren't looking good for his company. "Don't worry, I just thought of an idea that could help..." said Krishna. Mr.Sahay and Radhika looked at him, waiting to hear what he had in mind.
At the Rana house, Vikrant, Akash and Dhanraj were discussing their plans. "We all know that the only reason I agreed to this marriage between Radhika and Krishna was because I wanted revenge agianst the Rathores." said Vikrant smugly. "Indeed Dadaji. I can't wait to see their faces when they see the dead body of their beloved Krishna!" said Akash. Dhanraj added that although Radhika would be heart-broken at first, with time she will learn to move on forget about Krishna. Vikrant agreed, saying that his quest for revenge on behalf of his dead daughter Rohini holds more importance than Radhika's feelings. "Did they really think that I would forget our animosity so soon? 25 years of bitterness can't be erased this easily. Now I am going to give them double the pain that they gave our Rohini. I shall kill Krishna first and then throw Madhvi out of this house!" said Vikrant and all three of them smiled.
