Let us give some part fairness to writers & D character usage in RM serial.
Till Feb 2023 post R suhaag raat/wedding night episodes evil D was never shown as clingy, lusty or with high physical desires to sleep with M by hook or crook. 
She mostly behaved & dressed like a good friend around M giving him his space, patiently waiting for her wedding rituals to be done to get M's love & to romance him.
Its clownery & degraded characterization of M who kept rushing to D's room in the nights, instead of going to a guest room or just leave outside to stay in some hotel room post R's forced wedding & intrusion into his bedroom, that made D also turn cheap despo.
October 17
Shekhar appears-R called him,only has part of what they need for Gungun. Rahul,Ajit and R Dad give their bits too. Still a lot to complete the amount.
Mohan tells R D will give the money but should spend a night with her. Ghost hears the conversation too. R sends Mohan to D house. Before she gives him something she wanted since Janmashtami/his bday:bracelet with her name,same as she is wearing mangalsutra with his name. She is confident no mistake will happen.
D is sure will get what she wants and RM will break. 
Mohan reached D house while R is at mandir.
October 18
R scolds BB ji.
Poor His ears! (Contrast between her loud voice and Mohan's silence,he has no dialogue this ep but tension all over his face.)
Mohan thinks about his moments with R when D takes him to the room. He sees the knife in fruits bowl so he takes it. D closes the door and puts petals in bed.
R tandav,D signs the check in advance.
R meets some lady at mandir,ready to give her the money for Gungun. She is Krishna Kashyap (likely the new guy mom). Has some hidden interest to make R reach Maldives for business competition.
R gives doctor the check. Family questions her how she got it. R calls Mohan,D is about to take his phone&switch it off.
Another 'big' plot conceived that falls flat - not referring to D but the writers. But not surprising at all. Dont know what they gained from having D offer the deal - its already established she can go very low.
So doing a Tandav when in trouble can get you miraculous help . Yeah, going by her name, seems like she is the mom of the new guy.
Plan was dead since it crossed D mind. Needed to spoil Mohan's mood,already affected after Gungun's accident,make him feel he's not a great dad...but would go to any extent to help her-was never ready to accept D offer and fate shows him the way to escape,even if he has to hurt/kill D.
Kashyap is Shiv's family name too,could as well connect both shows. Said before,more sense if Shiv as doctor&Mohan's friend or Shakti as future doctor&RM friend would have helped them find money for G treatment.
October 19
D lights the candles,hugs Mohan-who is ready to use the knife. R enters just in time and slaps D. 
Tells Mohan they have money to save Gungun. Mohan only belongs to R. RM leave,D angry. 
Krishna reappears at hospital. Once RM win the contract can return the money. Family and ghost will stay with Gungun while RM need to go to Maldives.
RM enter to see awake Gungun.
Moving to Maldives-RM welcomed at resort and KK entry from the water. 
R thinks about Gungun,Mohan tells her how G loves water sports;R should relax to show the clients are not underconfident. RM meet KK. Thought he's positive but first impression-arrogant. Will sure like R.
