May be they had an arranged marriage. And he liked her but not loved her passionately like he loves (or would love) Shakti. I'm glad they didn't at least go with the usual hero being in love with dead wife. It is more the guilt of the past, than any residual feelings.

I don't think gauri will come back, the theme of the show is shakti healing shiv.. woh hi kharab ho jaayega if she retuns... but if this happens then Shiv is a terrible doctor as well

@Bold- I hope shakti have a memory loss before shiv confesses his love.. Scale should be even.. He should know how it feels to be in one sided love.. Shiv needs to struggle for shakti's love as well They can connect this with mytho as well since they love to do that a lot..

Since kartik is shiv's kid and the promo showed gauri and shiv couple posing in their wedding attire i think they were married..

I think Raghunath see's the kid as a threat... He doesn't like to talk about what happened 6 years ago.. i think its about how the accident happened and how shiv is mentally unstable because of that incident..

Shiv is the face of their companies and hospital so if his mental condition is revealed they will loose their reputation in the market..

Shakti losing her memory would also tie up with Shiv-Parvati story. It would be a nice touch. Right now, Shakti is the one taking all efforts in this relationship. That way, Shiv will also get a chance to woo her and restart their love story.
