My tribute, what should I say that all you Bandhanians have not already said😊......
Firstly I would just like to say a big thank you to the makers of this show for bringing Pyaar Ka Bandhan to our screens. Then I would like to thank the dialogue writers, directors and designers for giving us something different, from the 'saas bahu' fomula, that we are used to seeing. Especially with PraSha and Shashank in particular, beautiful just beautiful......
......But saying that you didn't appreciate what you had and carelessly lost what could have been the greatest show on television todate ( I could be accused of exaggeration, if I hadn't made two threads dedicated to the potential of the story)
Anyway what has happened has happened and now to the wonderful cast of the show......
Mahesh Shetty - You grave a powerful performance from you first scene. Loved you protrayal of Miland. Liked you pairing with Ruchi, wish we had seen more MiRa. Yor brother -sister chemistry with Kritika was also good.
Karan Sharma - You played a very convincing muslim charactor. Loved and hated your charactor at times, but your actions were justified for your role. Aziz and Devika's showed the making of a cute and interesting love story. Your scenes with Vivan and Kritika very good.
Lavanya Tripati - As a newcomer, you have grown as an actress through the last six months. You played the part of older sister to Sumo nicely and your scenes with Megha were sweet.
Megha Israni - You played a very sweet charactor and wished we could have seen her charactor grow and mature. You did a good job at showing the insecurities of teenage first love.
Sumit Sachdev - Liked your entry and attitude and the few romantic scenes with Lavania were done sencerely. Good proformance and show of your charactors feelings. You and Lavania made nice jodi.
Jatin Sial - Loved your comic style as the orginal Vikram Rai. You gave a wonderful proformance as a complex charactor and loving father.
Kavita Kapoor - Your role as Sonia Rai suited you perfectly. The right balance of sofistication and family values. You played a good mother and wife, different from typical 'saas bahu' types.
Ishita - The role of a ditzy, bubbly freind played perfectly. You gave a much needed, comic relief to the viewers. You comic timing and delivery worked very well with Vivan's. Shashank and Ishitia's friendship was a treat to watch and had us laughing to tears.
I have saved the best for last and for me that can only meen PraSha.....
Kritika Kamra - You are one of best female actors we have. You were stylish and elegent, yet simple and beautiful in both of Prateeksha's looks. Your were so genuine as Prateeksha and showed her insecurity and turmoil well. The way you played out her life on screen, we felt each emotion too. Her generosity, honesty, conviction and love was played with equal strength and you wanted her to find happiness. Your chemistry with all the charactors was wonderful, especailly with Vivan and not just in romantic scenes.
Vivan Bhatena - On any screen you are the best male actor around. Your looked handsome in both your charactors styles and your qualities as an actor are endless. Every aspects of your charactors was played flawlessly and every scene, emotion and expression felt real. Your comic timing was the saving grace of the show and you smile just lights up the screen.
What more can I say then you were perfect as Shashank and he is the best male lead ever created. He could be selfish and immature, yet extremely genorous and big hearted. He held nothing back and was completely honest and true. He loves Prateeksha unconditionally, but he is not afraid to confront her when she is wrong.
PraSha- This started off as a story of four siblings and we became hooked on the beautiful jodi of Prateeksha and Shashank. As these two pure souls were shown falling in love, we fell in love wtih this on screen jodi. Vivan's chemistry with Kritika is mesmerising and we will treasure PraSha forever.
