I personally still believe that PKB will not end today!!

But still, we don't need an end to show our admirance for PKB's cast. So this thread is dedicated to all the lovely and talented cast members of Pyar Ka Bandhan. Please feel free to drop your messages for them, perhaps what you loved about the particular character, etc.

Here are some of the main characters/actors of PKB:

To Ishita: You brought some happiness back into PKB recently and very sincerely supported your friend Shashank when he most needed a true friend like you. Thank you for this, and wish we could see your character develop more in the show. You're a great actress, hope you get more chances in other shows.

To Devika: Wish I could see you smile a bit more in the show and live happily with your love Aziz. You have done a great thing to confess your love to Aziz without fearing any other issues.

To Sumo and Araina: You guys were great at the start and very lively, loved your childish behaviour sometimes. Sumo, it was a great loss, wish you were alive for longer in the show. Araina, wish I could see you get back to your original self, your current self is quite heartbreaking for us, wish we could see you learn from your current acts and become a better person again.

And finally to Shashank (Vivan) and Prateeksha (Kritika): Well what can I say, like most of the audience, I watched this show only for you guys and your character. A lovely pair on screen to watch, you guys sent awesome vibes to all viewers with your amazing performance. Thank you for bringing the character of Shashank and Prateeksha to life so brilliantly, loved each and every scene of your guys, loved Shashank's sense of humour and the love and attraction that PraSha had for eachother. Thank you a lot!! Really hope to see PraSha re-united and some more PraSha scenes.

for me the show has only been shashank and the prasha love story....so my tribute to both the entities...
1 st to prasha as if i start on shank then rukoongee nahi...

PRASHA:
thank you creatives for creating 2 most opposite characters that one could have....and then creating a love story which was so gradual yet so sudden that we did not even realize when and how they fell in love and when and how WE fell in love with them....
thank you vivan and kritika for making the characters absolutely come alive on the screen....your chemistry absolutely rocked...the viewers could actually feel the passion,intensity,longing and love of the couple....never for a moment in the entire run of the love story one felt disoriented or that the characters are not real....u brought prasha love ALIVE in our lives and that is going to be 1 of the biggest memories of pkb for me....prasha will always remain alive ....for me...
the beauty of the love story was also that it was very young, as in the situations...and very unlike other shows with heavy jewellery , too traditional parents or over the top villains and vamps...it had just these 2 young lovers who fell in love against all odds, against even their own wish...and when they did...it felt wonderful to be a part of their life...when shank held prats hand ...our heart skipped a beat...when prats confessed her love...and hugged shank...we sighed in relief....when they were missing each other...we were 😭 ...when they met again...in the jungle...we were....awwww...shanky....so every emotion that they felt...we felt it too....prats closing the door on shanky's face hurt us as much as poor shanky...shanky's smile lit up the screen as well as our day...so...

vivan and kritika... 👏 👏 👏 ...you did a GREAT job!...i hope you guys realize how much you were loved...if we could not help with trps...it is our loss as we all are predominantly abroad so our watching doesn't count....and sony 😡 ...let the fans down big time....but still you guys rocked!!

ok now we come to the 2 nd tribute.....
SHASHANK:....I think the best male lead EVER....vivan the character was lovable ...but you made him just pure pleasure to watch....his attitude, his lines...which all of us quote on regular basis...his love for prats....his child like innocence yet the maturity to understand a person like prats...his intelligence and ability to get to the bottom of the problem...his strength of character and self confidence..and above all his humour...coupled by SUPERB COMIC timing by vivan...
VIVAN you totally rocked the show 👏 👏 ....i must say since you arrived on the screen , not even for 1 minute did you disappoint us ...infact we have been all 😍 as to what shank will do today....you have been the 1 bright star of pkb.....quoting shashank...yet again 😆 ...

tumhare jaane ke baad mai sabse zyada tum ko miss karoongee....

so to shashank who is the jaan of pkb and to vivan who brought the character to life... the quote is from may...a fellow shank deewani but it truly says our feeling....⭐️
i strongly feel that shank would NOT have been so REAL if it was not for VIVAN playing the character...there was , ifelt a lot of vivan in shashank so vivan... 👏 👏 👏

well my 1st tribute is to....

Ishika: I loved u as you brang soo much happiness to the show and espically when you had shanky trying to get pratz love... all i can say to u is that ur really sweet!!! thnx for all that u did

Sumo/Aarina - besat sister paring too much sweet scenes esp the shaky entry scene u guys looked the best And ArNak were really cute and Sumo we disliked u for paring with shakny but really missed u after sumo's death :(

Pratz/Raunaoq: lol you guys were the best with your own jodis not each other bhaut tarpaaya hai aap dono ne Moti and Bandhar ko hehehe xx thnx so much for entertaining us xx love you guys

Aziz loved you the most Mr Chota Kahtra cause ur scenes woth shanky and u made us have more prasha scenes... loved u with devika xxx

Millind: Mehesh ur charater was really one of my fave chnging ur mood every 10 secs loved ur jodi with Radhika xx

Mr Subash Malhotra: i hate you tbh lol no i loved the way u put ur charater forward i just disliked it when u tried to sepearte prasha for money :(( lol

Shashank i agree with many ppl when they say vivan u were the best in the show best male lead EVER his attitude, his lines...which all of us quote on regular basis...his love for prats....his child like innocence...VIVAN you totally rocked the show i'd read the updates and if u were there id then go watch it...just to tie up shanky as im getting speechless... SUPERB COMIC timin... and u have been the 1 bright star of pkb again remebering what u had quoted before xx

And Last but certianly not the lest in my heart Vivan:
To be honest ur amazing at ur job... u leave me speechless with every show of urx it being Kumkum's dhruv or CHA's Jahaan...but PKB wasur biggest hit...I HAD BEEN FOLLWING U SINCE I WAS 5 so i have seen all ur shows from the 1st mujhe kucch khena hai to the latest (including the cameo's in movies speical apperances like bidaai and when u were hosting) vivan the more i say about u still cant be enough ur my idol and to be honest if i could put how much i have been following u, how well u did in PKB and many other shows and eveythinng about u id be speechless.. and i would type fopr three days and still not finish so what ever IFaddictinUS Said is the best and perfectly phrazed into words xx so also i strongly feel that shanky would NOT have been so REAL if it was not for you xx

and PS well done o the whole Team of PKB and esp the behind the scenes who made all the lines and everything possible (esp vivan's lines well thought out!!!!)

My tribute, what should I say that all you Bandhanians have not already said😊......

Firstly I would just like to say a big thank you to the makers of this show for bringing Pyaar Ka Bandhan to our screens. Then I would like to thank the dialogue writers, directors and designers for giving us something different, from the 'saas bahu' fomula, that we are used to seeing. Especially with PraSha and Shashank in particular, beautiful just beautiful......

......But saying that you didn't appreciate what you had and carelessly lost what could have been the greatest show on television todate ( I could be accused of exaggeration, if I hadn't made two threads dedicated to the potential of the story)

Anyway what has happened has happened and now to the wonderful cast of the show......

Mahesh Shetty - You grave a powerful performance from you first scene. Loved you protrayal of Miland. Liked you pairing with Ruchi, wish we had seen more MiRa. Yor brother -sister chemistry with Kritika was also good.

Karan Sharma - You played a very convincing muslim charactor. Loved and hated your charactor at times, but your actions were justified for your role. Aziz and Devika's showed the making of a cute and interesting love story. Your scenes with Vivan and Kritika very good.

Lavanya Tripati - As a newcomer, you have grown as an actress through the last six months. You played the part of older sister to Sumo nicely and your scenes with Megha were sweet.

Megha Israni - You played a very sweet charactor and wished we could have seen her charactor grow and mature. You did a good job at showing the insecurities of teenage first love.

Sumit Sachdev - Liked your entry and attitude and the few romantic scenes with Lavania were done sencerely. Good proformance and show of your charactors feelings. You and Lavania made nice jodi.

Jatin Sial - Loved your comic style as the orginal Vikram Rai. You gave a wonderful proformance as a complex charactor and loving father.

Kavita Kapoor - Your role as Sonia Rai suited you perfectly. The right balance of sofistication and family values. You played a good mother and wife, different from typical 'saas bahu' types.

Ishita - The role of a ditzy, bubbly freind played perfectly. You gave a much needed, comic relief to the viewers. You comic timing and delivery worked very well with Vivan's. Shashank and Ishitia's friendship was a treat to watch and had us laughing to tears.

I have saved the best for last and for me that can only meen PraSha.....

Kritika Kamra - You are one of best female actors we have. You were stylish and elegent, yet simple and beautiful in both of Prateeksha's looks. Your were so genuine as Prateeksha and showed her insecurity and turmoil well. The way you played out her life on screen, we felt each emotion too. Her generosity, honesty, conviction and love was played with equal strength and you wanted her to find happiness. Your chemistry with all the charactors was wonderful, especailly with Vivan and not just in romantic scenes.

Vivan Bhatena - On any screen you are the best male actor around. Your looked handsome in both your charactors styles and your qualities as an actor are endless. Every aspects of your charactors was played flawlessly and every scene, emotion and expression felt real. Your comic timing was the saving grace of the show and you smile just lights up the screen.

What more can I say then you were perfect as Shashank and he is the best male lead ever created. He could be selfish and immature, yet extremely genorous and big hearted. He held nothing back and was completely honest and true. He loves Prateeksha unconditionally, but he is not afraid to confront her when she is wrong.

PraSha- This started off as a story of four siblings and we became hooked on the beautiful jodi of Prateeksha and Shashank. As these two pure souls were shown falling in love, we fell in love wtih this on screen jodi. Vivan's chemistry with Kritika is mesmerising and we will treasure PraSha forever.

OK, let's see, pretty much what I wanted to say has been said already, but chalo I will try.

Even though PKB started as a story of siblings in search of one another, to me the dominant narrative was that of Prateeksha and her quest for some sense of belonging and security that comes from having a family. This was conveyed so well by Kritika, she really got into the character and portrayed her strengths and vulnerabilities flawlessly. Her innocence, her desperate self-struggle to stay away from her precious "Sir", the guilt of Suhani's accident, her loyalty to Raunak and above all this her love for Shashank,...very very well played. A big round of applause for masterful acting not often seen on television 👏👏👏

If we are talking of Prateeksha, can Shashank be far behind? His transition from a rude, selfish, bade baap ka bigda hua beta to a sensitive, mature totally focused young man, totally and completely in love for the first time was so beautifully acted by Vivan, it's difficult to find enough words without sounding like a groupie !! 😃😃Vivan, thou art perfection!!!! 😆Your wonderful comic timing, pucca accent (both English and Hindi), your mannerisms, gestures and expressions were spot on for a character like Shashank.

Both Kritika and Vivan breathed life into Prasha and made their love story immortal, both should be very proud of themselves. 👏

Even though I did not agree with most of the characterization of Aziz, Milind and Araina, the actors playing them deserve nothing but commendation for a job well done. Karan, Mahesh and Lavanya, hats off to you.👏

Lastly, the much-maligned PKB creatives, who I personally wanted to throttle😡 on more than one occasion, thank you for giving us such a beautiful, innocent love-story that tugged at our hearts and kept us hooked …so sad that it had to end so prematurely😭😭😭. Thank you for giving us Shanky Baba and his hilarious one-liners, Prateeksha and her beauty, and most of all thank you for giving us Prasha😊.
