@Mages:I agree Kritika has this quality to look good with both Karan and Vivaan or for that matter any hot guyšŸ˜‰šŸ˜›..somewhere I will give credit to Ekta as well for creating such a cute love story again with PraShašŸ‘šŸ˜³..hope she doesn't ruin it like she does always with her other jodisšŸ˜”šŸ˜•
@Melissa:Wonderful AnalysisšŸ‘..Even I agree the KHNH song doesn't really suit the PraSha moments every timešŸ˜•..dunno why Ekta is using ths song for a romantic couple when SRK in the film was singing it because he was dieingšŸ˜†šŸ˜•..I really enjoyed the way u wrote itšŸ‘šŸ˜³

@Jyoti....thanks!😃 Even though I have sort of made my peace with this a PraSha's b/g music :P still I would never get it that why they play this tune on each and every PraSha scene. If they are implying that PraSha won't end up together, then they aren't doing a very good job with it. The music somehow only brings SRK and life-death situation in my mind. Its rather distracting than complementing.

Playing this music depending on the situation would have been fine, but for like every PraSha scene? that's too much..... Maybe that's why they give Shashank such great dialogues, to balance everything. I listen to Shashank so intently that I turn totally deaf ears to that music. But yesterday's song bit. I liked everything about it because of their expressions, but even the expressions couldn't save the hilarious randomness. Two seconds ago he was taking a position to leave and then suddenly he was close to Prateeksha with his hand displayed in front of her?🤣 The extended hand was so awkwardly positionedšŸ˜†. Then the next moment, with that very 'despaired' extended hand, Shashank was far away from her🤣🤣.

Enough said and done.....barring that one bit, I loved the scene. This PraSha scene will always be close to my heart and make Shashank a memorable lead. I promised myself not to get too attached with any BT show character, but when they will ruin Shashank, I will definitely be pissed and upset.....lol.

Amazingly put, Mels! I agree with each and every word you said! It was an amazing scene....they give him such amazing dialogues and Vivan does them such justice! His expressions were really heartbreakingly touching.....while I won't condone all this mahaan sacrificing business.....but somehow the way he said all that he said....that is what made the difference in this scene.....you could feel his helplessness and love.....that he was willing to step back just for the sake of her future not getting ruined.

And I also loved all the portions where he told her that you deserve a guy who cherishes you for who you are....who realizes how unique you are...and that guy would be very lucky....

There is a bit in the very end after he softly caresses her face and then removes his hand....there is so much emotion in his eyes there...I just loved that.

LMAO@ that 'us haath ko tum thaam lo' bit....hahaha....that totally cracked me up as well....but I didn't mention it in this post cuz the bit I liked was just uptill the end of the portion where he takes his hand away from her face. Uske baad toh it got a bit unintentionally funny...haha....I don't know who's genius idea it was to do that bit with him extending his hand in front of her as they are both crying phoot phoot ke.....LOLL

But before that, I thought they timed the 'chaahe jo tumhein pure dil se' bit really well with the way they were both looking at each other with tears rolling down their cheeks....that was touching.

Shashank sacrificed....yes....but the WAY he went about it was what made the difference.....he didn't shout at her, challenge her....he put forth a condition...but he put it forth in an entreating manner....for the sake of HER future....that is what was so heartbreaking...and the dialogues were just awesome!

I also liked the glimpse of light hearted Shashank we got in the Aziz-Milind scene.....lol....the best thing about him is how naturally and realistically they show him talking....you feel like it could be someone you know in real life....that's how natural his way of talking and expressing himself is.

Anu and Melissa have said everything I wanted to say so i won't say much except I agree!!

One part i LOVED and always love is seeing the tears well up in Shanks' eyes...they ALWAYS get to me! It was so heartbreaking to see not only Prats crying but a tear slipping down Shank's cheek as well!
