Ekta chokes on fish
Ekta Kapoor's workaholic attitude has cost her dearly. She was unwell due to a severe stomach infection for a week but refused to take a break because of which she suffered a reversion. She has now been advised bed rest.
About this Ekta said, "I can't afford such health setbacks right now. My CEO and I ate bad fish, which caused the food poisoning. I continued to work and now my condition has worsened."
She is on medical attention as the soap queen is loaded on antibiotics, which is making her lethargic. "I was putting together six film projects at that time," she added.
However, to get into details about her health condition we spoke to our source close to Ekta who said that, "She is absolutely fine and no work is delayed by her absence because she has got such a good creative team which works efficiently even if she is absent. She is very particular about her work which is more important for her and in emergency she works from home also."
While she might not be able to visit her Balaji office in Andheri west due to health constraints, she is making sure she manages the show even from home, directing all her subs into conference calls and taking important decisions pertaining to her shows. We spoke to her PR, who confirmed the same, adding that Creative Head at Balaji has taken stock of the situation and is running the show alongside Ekta from home .
