Hello everyone I went to a punjabi wedding in India over the winter break, and heard really funny sithniyaan (songs) that the guy/gal's moms side and dad's side would say to eachother. They were really funny so I was wondering if anyone of you guys would know any.
My mom told me a couple and I wanted to share them, if you know any please add on, I hope no one gets offended, these songs are just said for fun at punjabi weddings ok here are mine...
Dadke side-"hunn kidhar gayiaan ve, sarwan teri nanakiyaan baran tanakiyaan" Nanke side- "asi hazar nazar phullan barabar ve, sarwan terian nanakiaan"
Dadke- "khade si ladoo, jamme si daddu, hunn shapadaan(pond) de kande ve sarwan teriaan nankiaan"😆
Nanke- "khadiaan si khillan, jammiyaan si illa hunn, amber paundiyaan ve sarwan teriyaan dadakiyaan"😆
there are other's like these but these are all I could think of at the top of my head
this one is really funny, I was listening to the B21 song one day which is a remix of the old and my mom told me a funny version she used to sing at weddings with her sisters, it's a bit nasty but hilarious!!
"khatiyaan julab diyaan tatiyaan haye ni padh sade sade, aakh ni nanayaane tere veer nu, rurdi te jaake hugeya kare" 🤣 (if someone can't understand this and needs a translation, please PM)
