Drinking alcohol is infact a sin for Sikhs but I suppose there aren't many people who follow all the teachings of sikhism just the way there are many muslims who consume alcohol although they are forbidden from drinking it😛

and ur quite right, Punjabis....whether they be Sikh, Muslim or Hindu, have this stereotype of being classified as drinkers.

and most of that comes from us ACTUALLY doing that 😆 (oh but i dont drink :P)

in Islam and in Sikhism, Nasha is forbidden. but i guess more punjabis who are muslim follow this aspect of their religion than most sikhs.

in hinduism, i am not sure. can someone please clarify?

oh but what i dont understand is why it is assumed ok by the old ppl when guys drink? but its the subject of GREAT gossip when the girls drink? like i am not defending drinkin here, coz its not allowed fullstop. BUT why ok for guys and not girls?

Thank god for giving my family a brain that doesn't differntiate between gurlz and guyz😆 My mum strictly told my brothers and me and my sisters that none us were allowed to even touch liquor in our house forget drinking it😆 My older bro started drinking and she kicked him out of the house soon after😆 but thank god the rest of us don't consume alcohol {a stupid dare is an exception😳😆} even my other bro who is almost 22 doesn't even touch beer and I am soooo very proud of him for that
