Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh
On March 23rd, 1931, a couragous freedom fighter of India gave up his life for India's Independance. This freedom fighter was none other than Shaheed Bhai Bhagat Singh Ji.
Shaheed Bhagat Singh was jailed because he was demanded equal rights for Indian and British political prisoners. He fasted for 63 days in jail. He was later hung for shooting a police officer who had killed a veteran social activist, Lala Lajpat Rai.
Today, we all salute him for taking such a great step in helping India get it's independance. You will never be forgotten and always commend you for your bravery!
