Then leave it. Don't waste time on something that doesn't give you the satisfaction and joy of writing. I too have left few one part OS's in the middle because I was not satisfied with the way they were turning out.

Sometimes we envision something and end up writing something else 😕

I earlier I used to call Jhil as DJJ, which stood for Disappearing Jhilly Jhu, as she too would disappear without saying anything.

Now Bee has taken her place it seems . I'll have to start calling her DB of Disappearing Bee 😆
