Relentless Love

Chapter 1

Part A

Aarti was standing staring at him with her cocktail in hand. She was smiling. He was sooo handsome. And he was her husband. At first she tried to keep the smile off her face, but after the 3rd cocktail she stopped trying to hide it. She never indulged in alcohol. The waiter got her order wrong the first time and she decided not to return it. And she felt sort of giddy and happy. And a little free. Actually a lot free.

She was surprised earlier in the week that he invited her to the function. It was the Event industry's Mumbai awards evening. He won best Events co-coordinator of the year and the company best up and coming company since they only established in Mumbai less than a year ago. They were based in Bhopal and there was talk of them moving to Mumbai shortly.

They flew in the day before. She was excited about that. For the first time since they were married 6 months ago they were alone. Without the family and without the children. But that excitement was quickly dashed when they stepped into the family holiday home. Once again, Arpita was everywhere.

She walked to the room after meeting the very lovely and entertaining Bawhari and Jagan. As usual he was busy on his laptop and phone. Then he left to meet up with some clients coming home after she went to bed that night. She pretended to sleep.

She married him for the sake of her son. Her husband left them when she was still pregnant. After 5 years she had finally agreed to re-marry at the insistence of her in laws that were more like parents to her. And he married her for his 2 daughters after his wife passed away 3 years ago. Everything was clear. They would be co-parents and he made no bones about the fact that he still loved his wife. But despite that she was falling more and love with her broody and unavailable husband every day.

Pari and Vidhi Bhabhi helped her pick out an outfit for her. She was not allowed to see it until she got to Mumbai. At home they dressed very conservatively so when she saw what her sister's in law packed for her she blushed. She had never even worn anything so revealing. She would not have worn it had she had anything else appropriate to wear. The sari's that she had brought along with her were not suitable for a black tie event. And she did not want to ask him to take her shopping or for money for an outfit. So she had to wear the very revealing, gold lehenga choli that her naughty sisters in law chose for her. The sleeveless top barely had any fabric. The back consisted of 2 straps that held it together, revealing her whole back and middle. The skirt was very low slung and tight fitting around her hips and flared out to the bottom. The dupatta didn't cover much either.

He came out of the bathroom sporting a black suit and black bow tie. The suit fit absolutely perfectly. He looked like an Indian version of James Bond. She could not stop staring at him. She only came too when she heard her phone ring. It was the kids.

"Hello my babies, I am missing you so much."

"When are you coming home, Mamma?"

"Tomorrow sweethearts. First I want to get you some gifts ok."

"Yeah!" the squealed.

"Papa and I are going out now. Say hello to him quickly and then you go to bed now ok. And you be a good children for Taiji, Dadiji and Dadaji."

He took the phone and chatted to the children briefly and they left.

Now after her 3 cocktails he was looking even sexier than he had earlier. And he was smiling after the awards ceremony. He was happy as he now knew that they were making in-roads in the very tough Mumbai market. She was so proud of his achievements. She giggled with pride and happiness. She never thought that she could get married or fall in love again after Prashant. But she had with him.

She walked over to him with that same silly grin where he was talking to one of his colleagues.

"Sorry, Yashji."

"Yes" he said looking irritated at the interruption.

"I was wondering if you would like to dance."

"Aarti, I am talking to Mr. Singh."

"No, no. Go dance with your wife. If my wife looked like yours I would not have left her alone for a second."

She did not like the way the man looked at her. But she gave it little thought as Yash eventually excused himself and took her to the dance floor.

"Sorry Yashji. I didn't mean to interrupt." she said as they started dancing.

He said nothing.

"You know I think you are the most handsome man here tonight."

He looked at her very surprised.

"It's true." she giggled.

"You know, I was thinking earlier this evening that you look like James Bond. Scindiya, Yash Scindiya." She giggled again.

"I am so proud of you. I am not surprised though. You are very good at what you do. And you are hot."

"Aartiji."

"Oops, did I just say that out loud?" she giggled again.

"Aartiji, have you been drinking?"

"Just a cocktail or two or three." she giggled.

"It feels so good to be in your arms. I have been wondering how it would feel and I was right." She snuggled in tighter.

"Aartiji, stop it."

"Stop what? Admiring my handsome husband."

"Right we are going." He led her off the dance floor and said.

"Wait right here."

She nodded with a bright smile.

They got into the rental car and she just stared at him with her smile the whole time. He looked back at her with a frown.

"You shouldn't frown so much, you face will stay that way." she made a frowny face and burst out laughing. She turned on the radio and kept changing the channels till she found a song that she liked and started belting out at the top if her voice and dancing in her seat.

Now he looked really irritated and turned the radio off.

She sighed.

"No fun. No fun at all." she said and leaned back in her seat and closed her eyes.

She had apparently dosed off as she woke her up when they reached the house. They walked the bedroom. She looked at herself in the mirror.

"You never said how I look Yashji. Do you like this outfit? I would never have worn something like this you know. But Bhabhi and Pari chose it. They want me to seduce you."

"Aartiji. I think you need to get into bed."

"Is that an invitation?" she looked at him seductively. "Such a Bond thing to do. Take the heroine home and ravage her." She laughed again.

"Enough of this Aartiji. Get out of your clothes and get into bed."

"Ooh, now you want me to get out of my clothes and get me into bed. You are too naughty Mr. Scindiya." she walked to him and stood in front of him.

"I would like to take off my clothes and yours too. Do you know you have the perfect body? Those abs are to die for." She trailed her finger down his chest.

"Do you know what torture it is when you walk around in that towel? How is a girl supposed to stop from drooling? You look so hot when you come out of the shower with you wet hair and hot body. It's absolute torture, I tell you. And your eyes. Those perfect orbs of molten chocolate. So beautiful, so intense. And your mouth, your lips. Mmm" she licked her lips.

"Not even Prashant made me feel like this. And trust me, when our marriage was good, it was goood. It's not wrong is it? To have such naughty thoughts of your own husband. To want to kiss him and touch him and ..."

She moved away and turned around and swallowed hard.

"It's hot in here. She fanned herself. Are you hot Yashji?" she turned around to look at him. "Of course, you are always hot." she laughed at her own humour again.

She walked back to him and she put her arms around his neck and kissed him. At first she felt no response and then he kissed her back with equal amount of passion.

"I have wanted to do this for the longest time." she said as they finally had to break the kiss to breath.

She started kissing him again as she pushed the jacket off his shoulders, undid his tie and started unbuttoning his shirt while she kissed him in his neck and nibbled on his earlobes. He undid the strings that held her top together and exposed her naked breasts. He immediately started kneading it and tugging at her nipples. They were standing next to the bed and he moved swiftly and she was lying on the bed with him on top of her devouring her breasts. His hands stroked her all the way down till it stopped when it encountered her skirt. Suddenly he stopped and got up. He left the room without saying a word.

When she came out of her daze, she was shocked, humiliated and sober. She could not believe what she had done and that she acted so brazenly. And she could not believe that he had so brutally rejected what she was offering. Was she that unappealing? She got up and went to the shower and stayed there for a long time, crying her heart out. She came out anxiously, not knowing if he would come back to the room, but she worried for nothing. He did not come back that night. He was gone when she woke up and was instructed by Bawhari that they would accompany her for the shopping and Yash-sir would meet her at the airport for the flight home. She packed their things, went shopping and went to the airport. They barely looked at each other or spoke on the flight back.

Chapter 1

Part B

His parents insisted that he take her with to Mumbai. She was his wife, they said. He didn't know what they expected. After all was it not enough that he agreed to get married again. He still loved Arpita. He would always only love Arpita. Yet he saw the need for a mother in his daughters. And she was a good mother. The girls, though tentative at first had really warmed up to her. And it was all because she really did so much to steal their hearts. And he enjoyed Ansh so much. He was the cutest thing and he loved him like a son almost immediately. But the marriage was in name only. Just for the sake of their children.

He could see that she sometimes took strain from his very traditional family. His mother and aunt were hard task masters. They did not give her an inch but she never stopped trying to conform to their requirements of a Scindiya bahu. She was not what they expected when they chose her though. She was vivacious and loud and her laughter reverberated throughout the entire house. And their house was big. He often observed her when she was interacting with his sisters in law and the children. And not to mention when she was with Prateek. It always seemed as if those two were up to something mischievous. She could hardly be ignored as she flitted around the house with that big personality of hers. And he had to admit she had the most infectious smile he had ever come across. Not that it had any effect on him of course.

He was very uncomfortable by the thought of spending time alone with her. But at least had had a lot of appointments set up as he tried to travel as little as possible. So he tried to make the most of his visit to Mumbai. It was not that he was trying to avoid her. It was just good planning on his part.

When he entered the home, all the old memories of his time with Arpita came flooding back. The pictures were still here. She had decorated this home herself. She loved this place and he loved her so they spent as much time as they could there. He hadn't been here since she passed. He preferred to stay at hotels when he came for business. He immediately started working when they settled and then he left for some meetings. Then he went for dinner with some suppliers and they went for drinks afterwards, not that he indulged in alcohol.

She was sleeping when he got back. It was a relief. He got into bed and fell asleep almost immediately as he had a long day. He woke up that morning and she was still sleeping. The window had been left open and the breeze was just brushing over them, making her hair fall over her face. She looked so angelic, so beautiful as she was lying there. A rare smile graced his face and he instinctively reached out to move the hair away from her face, but he caught himself before he did something so intimate. This spurred him on to get out of bed immediately and prepared for his breakfast meeting.

His timing was perfect in that he came home just in time to get ready for the function and took a quick shower. There was a vision outside waiting for him. He was astounded. She looked simply stunning. Even he could not deny that she was beautiful but he had never seen her like this before. The outfit accentuated every inch of her body perfectly. Time stood still as he stood staring at her.

The sound of the shrill ringing of her phone brought him back to the present. A strong mental shake was required at that moment as well as a stern reminder. There was nothing between him and this woman besides being parents to their children. These feelings must just be because he had been without a woman since Arpita's death. And now he was irritated. Why was she dressed like this? She was exposing so much of herself, why and for who? He was tempted to tell her to wear something else. But not that he was jealous and did not want other men to see her of course. Luckily speaking to the kids gave him the composure he so desperately needed.

When they announced his name as winner of the Co-ordinator of the year, he instinctively looked at her, almost as if he wanted her approval. And the look of pride was unmistakable in her face. She even hugged him when he came back from the stage after collecting his award. When the party began he tried to stay as far away from her as possible and yet keeping her in his vision. He could see that there were a few men that looked at her appreciatively. She even danced with a few partners. It irked him as he knew most of them were married and the type of attention that they were giving her was inappropriate. He was irritated with them but not at all possessive of her, of course.

Till she did the unimaginable. Though it was clear that she had too much to drink but to openly try and seduce him like that? Her words, her actions all were so blatantly shameless. And to bring up her intimacy with her ex-husband? How could she? And now what does he do with the knowledge of this. When it was so difficult to walk away from the situation as is. He left her there, angry at both of them. He went to stand outside in the garden for the cool see breeze to take away this heat and burning desire. It didn't help. Then he went to one of the other rooms, had a cold shower and tossed and turned till he eventually succumbed to a restless slumber. And he escaped as early as possible so as to avoid any confrontation. He was not ready to talk about this. He had to clear his thoughts. He had to make sure that both of them were aware that it was a mistake. That it can never be repeated. But first he had to regain a semblance of strength, be the man that he was before she entered his life. Be the man that was steadfast in his love, his one true love and that was Arpita. There could be no one else and physical involvement would only blur the lines. Women got emotionally involved and he could not have that. He had to think about this intently.

It was two days later that he came into the room as she was getting ready for bed putting up the pillow wall.

"Aartiji, we have to talk about what happened in Mumbai."

"No, we don't. I was drunk. Let's just attribute it to that and leave it."

But in his mind he was thinking that drunk people normally spoke the truth.

"Just so you know that it can never happen again. We both agreed that this marriage is for the sake of our children and nothing more. Our commitment and love will always be to our spouses."

He heard her sigh loudly.

"What was that?"

"Nothing."

"No say what you want to say."

"Yashji, I married you for our children. My husband left me. Yes, I wanted him back. I wanted us to be a family but one can't live in the past forever."

"So didn't you love him?"

"I loved him with every fibre in my being. But it wasn't enough. So I have decided to move on and forget that part of my life. Yes, there were happy times that I would like to remember and he gave me the best thing in my life, Ansh, but other than that I have decided that the past remains just there."

"Then your love was not true."

She turned around swiftly and looked at him with so much anger.

"You don't know what I felt for Prashant, what I gave him, how I loved him. I loved him with my whole heart, I freely and passionately gave him my body, and I lost my soul to him. You don't know how I begged him to stay. I would have done anything for him to have stayed. I was absolutely broken when he left. Don't you dare stand in judgement of my love? Just because you choose to live the life of a dead man. I want to live and not just survive. I want to love and be loved and if I had known what I know now I would have rather stayed unmarried." he voice was nearly whisper but the tone of absolute anger and resentment was evident.

"What is it that you know?"

"I said to leave it didn't I? It's not worth discussing. It was the actions of a drunk woman. I apologise and I promise it will never happen again. Your much guarded virtue is safe with me. Even I can only take so much rejection." She said sarcastically.

"Aartiji ...:

"Good night, Yashji." she got into and switched off the bedside lamp.

He came to tell her that it could never happen again, yet she was the one that told him. She was so angry. He did not anticipate her reaction. He saw a different side of her. The pain in her eyes were evident as she spoke about her relationship with her ex-husband. He had not doubt in his mind now that she loved completely and was rejected. And he had no doubt of the passion that was inside her. He could not get their encounter out of his mind. Merely blinking his eyes scared him lest he see her in his mind's eye. He regretted not following through on what they both wanted, yet knowing he did the right thing. It had to be the right thing. He could not so easily forget as she had done. He could not let go. He loved Arpita. His love and his body was for her only. He could not so easily give what he had promised away to another. One love for a lifetime. That is what he believed then and that is still what he believed. Then why did he feel to rip that pillow wall away and pounce on the source of his escalating confusion.

Relentless love indeed! Apt title Honey-Bee! Especially on the part of our delightful tublight! He tried keeping a stubborn hold on his past, but this new love relentlessly pulled him to the present, gave him a different glimpse of his future; how to fight off feelings beyond him? A personality so large and uncontainable, in his own words!

I love how you still took the shell from the show, but filled it up in your own style. We have a punar vivah, but the Scindhias are aware she's divorced, I would even bet that's why his mom and aunt are so hard on her. Then we have a trip to Mumbai, and just like in the show it is a catalyst for them reaching the next stage. Unlike in the show though, here they are alone, and only one of them is drunk.

Poor Aarti. What a torture it must be, especially with such a healthy libido to be confronted with the sight of her hot hubby daily. Of course a dose of liquid courage is bound to bring all of that to the fore, and boy does her mouth run away with her! But her body does too, and she gives into her cravings. Brief it may be but she's pleasantly surprised when he responds. But reality buds in when he leaves her burning for him and it must feel like dejavu to be faced with yet more rejection. Unlike the show Aarti though, she is no doormat. She lets him know in no uncertain terms that she is perfectly aware of where she stands with him. She unwittingly makes him question his convictions about love...

Yash is not used to being questioned. Arpita must have been one docile woman, letting him make all the decisions, initiate their moments. Aarti is her opposite in everything, without even trying she lets him notice her, lets her presence felt around the house. He is well aware of the dangers she poses and that's why he keeps his distance. He knows very well he can't stay away from her hence his need to plan meetings to keep him away from her. But then she dresses in a way that ensures he keeps an eye on her, he is well aware of the attention she commands at the venue. What he feels is more than the physical, it's evident in the way he requires her approval, in his neat to please her. And when she seduces him drunkenly, he is powerless but to give into what he had been running away from long before that night. But then his beliefs interfere and he runs away once again. Yet when he confronts her, she puts him very neatly in his place. And he can't even deny the passion she ignited that night. Why, when he is convinced Arpita was his true and only love does she affect him so?

You cannot doubt how much I loved and enjoyed this piece, Honey-Bee! ❤️

B a wonderful story so far. It is relentless love as Yash is stuck and confused about what he really feels for Arti. Felt sorry to see Arti's de je vu when Yash withdraws during their passionate love making. Waiting to see what happens next please continue soon. Congratulations Sass on color change.

First of all Congratulations Sassy for the color change 🥳. Keep writing stories and chatting in CCC and keep changing colors 😃

Coming to the OS...

Bee, I so love this OS

There were no secrets between them. He knew she was a divorce and she knew that she had no place in his life as his life was still dedicated to his beloved Arpita. 🤔. So much love for a deceased wife that he had become a recluse and was oblivious of his wife's feelings for him. Or was he?

Yes Aarti was a passionate person but that passion was reserved for her spouse only. If she was that desperate for intimacy, she wouldn't have waited for five years to get married and that also to a man who wanted her as a mother to his children and not as his wife.

Being human, she was attracted to him. She never claimed her rights on him and kept her distance. She was sure he wouldn't even notice her as he was lost in his Arpita world.

Even he was sure that she won't have any affect on him. He was sure that his virtue was safe as his new wife understood and respected his desire to be still lost in the memories of his deceased wife.

How wrong they both were!

Yes he noticed her. He noticed every action, every traits, every gestures of hers. He could not even miss noticing her alluring beauty. He wasn't aware that she had become an integral part of his life. To the extent that when he received the award, she was the first person his eyes sought. And when he saw pride in her eyes, pride for his achievements, that was the moment he felt victorious. That was his actual win.

How could he not notice her when she was dressed to kill? How could he not be affected when she confessed her feelings in an inebriated state? How could he control his raging urges when she seduced him?

She was drunk but he was not. He was in his full senses. Aarti gave into passion in her drunk state, but he gave into passion when he was in his full senses.

Alas the ghost of Arpita appeared and ruined everything. Not just for Aarti but for him also. Cause he had been attracted to her for a long time now and desired her as much she Aarti desired him.

This Aarti is strong. After that shameful rejection, she set him straight that she was drunk and it meant nothing.

Wow, that must've been like pouring a bucket of ice cold water on his heated ego. I was like go Aarti go 👏

Let's see how he comes out of his bloated ego and accepts his true feelings for Aarti.

Once again thanks for giving such a passion filled and heated (as in hot headed AarYa) OS

I am so happy with this gift, thanks you Bee 😛😃 😃.
I do love a strong Aarti, that challenges clueless (or tube light) hubby. So the "un" fortunate 😉drink helped her shade her inhibition and openly admire the husband. The husband who is only going thru the motion of being married without emotional involvement, still stuck in the past. Aarti surprised to be invited to the event and thanks to her sis in law dazzle in a beautiful gown alas hubby remained blind again lost in his world. The free version of Aarti was so funny to watch, she would never have the nerve sober😆; how she got into Yash face forcing him to notice her and gave in to avoid a scandal in front of his peers. How she pushed his buttons by getting in his space, then later seducing her only to feel like she received a glass of ice on her face when he brutally stopped.
It seems Yash was not so immune after all, since she almost got her way with him. He must have been flattered to a point by her compliments but of course in love with Arpita Yash has to come out again and stop the inevitable .

Ah Yash the dutiful son, the one that does what his family say and never rebel except for one thing: his love for Arpita. That emotion only belongs to him so of course, he would hang on to it very hard. He understood the need for his girls to have a mother and agree to the marriage, got a son he actually love with the deal but that all he is willing to give. He doesn't have to consider this new wife feeling, their was not a love match and also because he believes he already had his great love so he kept to himself.

But that trip changed everything and force Yash to face facts he didn't want to, or he would not filled his days with work to avoid Aarti. 😛. Nice try but he noticed how stunning she was and the effort he had to make to downplay his budding feelings for his wife. Had to remind himself that she meant nothing while being annoyed when other men noticed her and to top it of, she get drunk and pushed him to his limit.
It's interesting how Yash, think Aarti should feel the same about her first love without knowing her past. I like how Aarti put him on the spot about him choosing to live in the past😕 and told him some truth which he needed to hear. She had least face life and yes she can have some regrets about Yash, because she does deserve to be love and cherish indeed
Now the ball is in Yash camp cause he is more confuse then ever and fighting against what deep down he knows is happened to him.
Again thanks for the gift Bee, I do love the new color and so many posts, probably spending to much time here but I love it.

hushshhh everyone please do not criticize my poor Yashu😡
Yash baby dont worry i am here to defend you and protect you even from your Aarti Ji😉😆

Ok while reading this story i felt like watching the PV serial again thought it has some different plot but yet it is almost same

And just like the Yash in the serial, i feel pity for this Yash too😭

Yash- A man so strong for his kids and the outside world but he is actually a broken man in reality. He seems to be lost in the big bad world after losing his wife his one and only emotional strength Arpita. He doest not have anyone to share his pain other than his dead wife and he built an artificial world with her . arti on the other hand a more practical woman considering the fact that she has faced many tough challenges than Yash and she has many people like her in laws to share her pain to some extent. So just like in the serial and also in this story i would like to see Aarti to take the lead and to take Yash out of his dead world with her love and care rather than giving him a cold vibe or being angry on him. i understand she faced rejection but she should atleast understand Yash otherwise who will understand him! arti can very well be the leading light at the end of the dead tunnel in which Yash is trapped!!

PS: Again everybody do not criticize my poor baby Yashu❤️😆

oops did i tell you that you are challenging your own standard with one step higher in each of ur story👏 keep up great work😊

You really like this one didn't you?
Right now you have no more excuses to right your OS.

As always he is denial. He takes her with him reluctantly and he occupies himself to the extent that he does not have to spend any time with her. But as at home, she makes her presence felt. With a little help from her sisters in law she makes him notice her. And in your word, wiht a little "liquid courage" she dared to demand that he be a husband to her. Yet he was not yet ready for that and he rejected her. It must have been so hard on her, having gone through so much rejection in the past but this time she chose to tackle her rejection and marriage differently.
She would not be the victim here. She made it known that they both were entitled to their feelings. He did not have the monopoly on grief and love and he had not right to judge her on his own version of love.
She was challenging the very beliefs he held to so steadfastly. But love comes when you least expect it and as in the show, he will be powerless to resist it or her.

Thanks for the great comment.

Thanks Fandu.
I have always felt that Aarti gave so much of herself for so little in return.
Yes, in the end he was a good and loving husband but after putting her through hell first and she remained there, always putting everyone else's needs above her own.

Wow, a comment from Nix and this on a weekend. How shocked am I????😲

But yes, Deny, deny deny! That was his constant mantra. He wanted to deny the woman and the love that was chipping away at his heart. Somewhere deep inside of him he always knew that the marriage was not just in nam only. He wanted her with him and he wanted to hold onto his memories of Arpita too.
I always wondered how she could sleep in a room that were filled with another woman's memories even though it was not a love marriage. But I am sure he kept it for his own protection. The protection of his heart.
But he can't dismiss the impact that she had on the family and on him. And in Mumbai she was in his face. She was uber sexy in her outfit, to the point where he felt jealous about the attention she was getting from other men. And what she said to him that night was what her really wanted to hear. She seduced him with her words and actions but at the last moment her forced himself to stop and remember what he was desperately trying to cling to with great difficulty.
He did not expect her response at the confrontation.
She continued to just confuse and challenge him and that was exactly what he needed to come out of his dreamworld.

Thanks for tearing yourself away from MTB for this comment.
