Part 1 -So complete and utterly opposites. Her happiness and joy - e was contagious to everyone around her. She was the life of the party, he laughter ring out through a room. she was a tease and she had a wonderful, healthy relationship with her adopted family. She had every reason to be sad having been orphaned at a tender age, yet she still had joi de vivre.Originally posted by: B-onesie
I am so pleased that you decided to post. This is really one your best so far. After my favourite of course.
He was cold and serious and hee came with a purpose yet even then he could not ignore or deny what he saw in her. The reaction he felt for her was no less than she had for him. As much as she tried to deny those feelings, she quickly fell in love as did he.
Sadly his love for her did not make him abort his plans to wreak his vengeance on her, innocent though she was.
She fell for him hook line and sinker. Her dream turned into a nightmare in a split second when she reached their "home".
The sins of the fathers have a nasty way of filtering through to the rest of the family. Now she was the one to be the victim of an irrational and vengeanceful plot that he felt that her family was responsible for.
I can't abide the Yash in this story. he is irrational and one track minded. He can't see the forest for the trees.
You know I can't abide this Yash. What he does to Aarti is almost unforgivable.
But it makes for superb.
Really one of my favourites in your collection.đâď¸

Even the punishment that was inflicted was not enough to get her down. She took it on stride. She accepted it as her lot. She did everything they wanted of her. And she did it with love. She had magnanimous wealth but an even bigger heart. And she absorbed her new family into it despite the circumstances.
I am not sure what they expected her attitude to Vidhi would be but she sure surprised them by just loving her so much so that Vidhi came to depend on her more than anyone else.
She even hid her circumstances from her family. She protected her abusers. When she could have walked out anytime. She didn't need them, but she chose to stay despite everything.
The punisher became more anguished than his victim. He wanted to hate but he was not able to. He was torn between his need for vengeance and his love for her. And she confused him with her attitude to the situation. And for that he wanted to punish her even more.
For someone that is running a successful business, he can't seem to make good decisions. His thirst for revenge is all encompassing. yet all he ever hears was one side of the story. And even so, what was Aarti's fault. Because his sister suffered and so must the daughter of the man that made Vidhi suffer. But his father was also not blameless and he was a vengeful, hateful man to leave such a request with his son. So not a fan.
And now Arpita puts them on the spot? Oh well, we know Aarti is still going to protect him.
He makes me so angry. He deserves to lose her for good. Idiot!!!đĄ
So again she starts off lying to Arpita to protect him once again, forgetting that Arpita knows her better than anyone and sees through her lie. She was still hoping for his love and a real marriage. That is why she didn't want to give her parents a bad impression of him.
She wanted it so much that she begged for Arpita's silence. She was desperate to stay in an abusive situation as she was always hopeful that he will eventually love her and that he attitude would win him over.
Arpita and Amaan's presence catapulted their relation to the next level. One where they were acutely aware of each other all the time. They near encounter made their desire more as well as their anguish. The constant pressure she was under was beginning to take its toll. She was giving in to her unhappiness. He was changing her and not for the better.
Her poor sister, although she gave her the time to make her marriage work, could not tolerate the abuse she suffered so much that she had to leave.
Then finally he saw her through new eyes. Firstly she made Vidhi look like her former self before she lost her love and her child. She was chipping away at his hatred with the beautiful person she was inside and out. yet her still tried desperately to cling to it.
Like a certain someone always says "SMH"đ˛
Oh well said Aarti, Yash is at this point provoking her to remain detached. Aarti is really trying hard to get him to relent but obviously, hubby won't make it easy cause that would mean recognizing his fault. At the same time I get that he is suffering for his sister who got the bad end of the deal, but then so did Pankaj who's no longer alive (right?). My heart broke at Vidhi distress when Aarti had to go see Priya.
I do hope Yash move from the stubborn hurtful behavior, I get that he has been driven by his promise to his father and what he thinks is a betrayal, but Aarti has also lost a lot and not letting embrace life. Eventually, she'll get through him but in the meantime enjoying the ride
lighter note: she's accumulating miles (not the đł fun one) but dang having a jet, must be cool for commute.
Another great chapter.
