Tessie, i finally finished Choices and even now I feel teary. I want to comment and i know at the end they come together as a family, but i really can;t stand Aarti as a mother in that story. No child should be made to feel like that. Each little being is precious in their own right and even if she was "created" for that purpose and Palak needed more attention due to her illness, her attitude and behaviour towards Palak was apalling and in the real world would scar a person for life.
