At that point she was still engaged and he felt that she was taking lightly and as usual and all she wanted was instant gratification and not him while he was totally invested in her, unbeknownst to her of course. He was trying to be stricter with her, for his own sanity.
Just my thoughts😳

@ bold Quite a complex set of emotions indeed. If only I could also deal with such characterizations through my stories. Thanks for the clarification Bee-Bee.😃

The eternal fighter, Aarti is and always will be my favourite. Yash was starting to become annoying. He was hell bent on destroying 4 lives at once. Arpita is such a darling and Amaan is just as stubborn as his little-ly. Amazing OS.

😃😃Indulgence indeed , like the title.
From childhood teasing , to adult love and the tribulation in between. 😆. From tomboy to womanhood, from innocence to maturity , from harmless peck to full grown adult desire.
Boy did Yash got a shock😳 when the duck transfer into a swan and with that all his deep hidden wishes came to surface only to realize that he may have gone too far and lost the woman he loves to another one; Ma knows best and tried to make him understand. I suppose he got scared that she'll refuse him and run away to SA, coward (in a nice way).
But lucky for him destiny intervened otherwise he would have done the sacrificial think and married Arpita instead of fighting for what he really want. . So why do you make it so difficult for me to not feel like knocking some sense into Yash, Bee.
Soon Aarti realize also too late that all this teasing and banter was actually more like than hate. But geez, Yash was harsh on her, I mean he is the one who almost committed the unforgivable with her. Or is he angry because she hasn't realize in time that she loved him soon enough. Anyway poor Arpita and Prashant, they had no chance. At least Aarti tried to fight for him, maybe not the best way (really did she think that Yash would not recognize her touch) but she did not run away and she got the blessing of Gayatri -Ma. As I said earlier mom knows best. 😆.
All the banter, funny by the way, was just hiding the underlying love they both didn't realize at first. And yes their timing was wrong but at least they finally got a clue to indulge each other fully
Anyway sweet , charming story. 😃

Thank you Chiccy. I seem to keep the characters the same as PV always. Aarti the one that has to fight for the relationship and Yash being a tubelight. But in his defence in this one, she was a bit of spoilt brat so his reluctant is warranted I would say.
