yes they are best friends. But they are not exactly opposite but somethings like that. The reasons you will come to know latter, specially why payel's something match with Aarti. Even you will get a glimpse about in in chapter two also. About palak's nature yes you are close in your guess.
i said before also, yes hansika will play the major role, How? Again you have to wait as its just chapter 1,
your some doubts will clear in chapter 2 which is on the way
