MUJHE KUCHH KEHNA HAI..
Aarti was waiting.. at airport.. waiting for his arrival.. few more minutes, after that he will be in front of her eyes again. She smiled herself but then remember what he said before leaving, "I hope you are not hoping anything from me.. I mean you can understand na what I am saying? I know you are not still want to say please don't hope anything.."
And the colour of her face faded. She couldn't do that, she couldn't keep his words about NOT TO HOPE. Even sometime ago also she forget the depth of his words, she only was remembering the essence of the moment which they spend together, and those forced her to forget about NOT TO HOPE.
She saw him.. from far.. she smiled again but again NOT TO HOPE make her smile down. She wants to smile when after these days she saw him again but she couldn't. and finally yash was right front of her. Aarti forced herself to smile to be normal in front but in vain. When yash greeted her, "hello aarti.."
And she replied the same but to see her face anyone can guess the negativity, so did yash..
After that they could not talk.. yash's younger brother there with whom aarti come, they just lead to home..
15 days back...
Yash: aarti.. mujhe kuchh kehna hai tumjse.. I want to say something..
Aarti looked at him, what he want to say? Unknowingly she blushed, "mujhe bhi.."
Yash: really? What a co incident!! And whats that you want to say ?
Aarti: you started first so you say.
Yash: ok.. umm, I think my family, actually not only my but your family also thinking seriously about us..
Aarti somehow know what he is talking about still behaved differently, "matlab?"
Yash: matlab, they thinking other way about us.. arey, cant you understand the matter? See we met just as family friends and I started to feel good with you, I mean I get a good friend in you. You are such a nice girl that's why I talk to you meet you but looking like they are misunderstanding this and now as per my guess they are thinking about life long relation.. you understand what I am saying??
Aarti understood, she understood from before, but misunderstanding? She didn't think that, she even thought they understanding her fully without her any words, but here yash saying the opposite.
Yash felt something in her changing expression, "aarti, you know what I am saying right?", he doubted that her thinking may be not as him.. he continued, "see aarti, I know, like any other girl you also can feel the different, but you know we are friends. You are a very nice girl, that's why you are my friend even very good friend. Everyone thinking wrong about our growing frankness and friendship. I hope you also not doing that. i hope you are not hoping or expecting anything from me like that.. I know you are not but still want to say don't hope anything.."
Aarti didn't know what to say, but understand if her feelings will unfold then may be she will loose this friendship, she somehow managed to giggle, "you are thinking too much yash.. why I'll go to hope anything from you. kuchh bhi?. tum bhi na.. take a break please.."
Yash relaxed to get her answer like this and forget that she also wanted to say something.. and then he left to Mumbai for his work. They were in touch through phone but aarti couldn't talk like before she did.. she tried to keep distance, she was drowning deep in her feelings still tried to divert her mind by other things. And after all these days when pratiek asked her to go to airport to receive yash she couldn't deny. Again the hope come back. When he was near her again she was happy but she hesitated to be happy also, his those words were not giving her the permission to be happy or to hope anything..
They were driving back.. yash could feel the tension in aarti's behavior. The only thing was pratiek keep teasing them there any reason or not. But when yash looked at her to see her reaction in pratiek's words and he understood she is not comfortable at all, so he just scold pratiek and asked to keep quite..
When they reached yash's resident yash said his brother to go inside as he want to talk with aarti alone.. pratiek left without any question just saying all the best.. aarti wondered whats the matter, so as yash. difference was aarti was thinking what yash want to talk and yash wondering why she is behaving strange, not even talking properly.. is that for pratiek's words then he can teach him a lesson for it..
Once they were alone, "what is the matter aarti? You behaving different?" yash asked.
Aarti also know that, she cant be normal like before, and that didn't go unnoticed by him.. she smiled, "nothing yash.. kuchh bhi to nehi.." she tried to be like before..
"are you sure?"
"yeah, definitely.."
He was quite for few moments then said,"I missed you there aarti.."
She looked at him with surprise, really he missed her as she did? But she couldn't say anything when he said again, "and mujhe kuch kehna hai,"
But then he couldn't complete what he wanted to say as pratiek come back there and inform everyone asking about them what he should say them? Aarti felt embarrassed, she left the car fast..
Everyone got busy to get yash back in home after 2 weeks. Pratiek continued his teasing words whenever get chance and all other members also giving him company in that. But yash was looking at aarti and little disappointed to see her absent minded. As pratiek picked aarti for airport so she asked him to drop her to home as that was quite late at night but yash happily take the responsibility on himself..
The journey was silent. Aarti didn't talk much expect giving the answers of yash's questions. Aarti could feel she behaving strange but she couldn't help in it.. soon they reached their destiny, aarti going to get down but yash said, "aarti please wait sometime.."
She did as he said..
Yash: I know, something bothering you aarti.. don't you want to share with me? You didn't talk with me well in these days also.. why??
Aarti: nothing like that yash, then you went for work and now I am little bit tired..
Yash: are you upset or uncomfortable with pratiek's words??
Aarti kept quite for some moment then said, "yash, actually I want to say something..
Yash remembered he wanted to say that before also but couldn't, "I also want to..'
Aarti: okay, tell me then..
Yash smiled, "ladies first, I should give the opportunity to you first..
Asarti thought something then said, "I think you should clear all the things to your family, even we should to both our families.."
Yash: about what are you talking?
Aarti: which you said before.. we should clear that NOT TO HOPE anything specially... from us..
Yash was indeed surprised to listen her, he forget about that thing and more surprised to listen it from her.. he was trying to find what to say or what not when her phone rang. After finishing the call she said, "maa is expecting me home soon, its late.. we can talk latter yash, now you go, you must be tired and everyone is waiting for you.."
She turned to leave when yash called her back, "aarti, I really missed you there.."
She looked at him, she wanted to say the same but she afraid may be her emotions will be different she just smiled, "you said this before also yash. now go to home.. good night.." she didn't wait a little now..
Yash kept looking at her, "really that didn't affect her? She didn't have anything to say in the reply?"
Just some day back both wanted to say something, that time yash spoke but then forget aarti also wanted to say something and again this happened but this time aarti spoke not yash about what he wanted to say..
Aarti wake up because her phone was vibrating. It was 1 at night.. who can call at this hour? For her surprise it was flashing yash's name on screen.. she rubbed her eyes to confirm is it really him, that's also at this time? Wasn't he the person with whom she spent the evening and only few hours back he came to drop her? So why he calling now?
She received the call, "yash.. at this time? Is everything all right?
Yash: no, nothing is all right..
She become tensed now, "what happened yash? are you okay?
Yash: mujhe tumse kuchh kehna hai..
Aarti: what?
Yash: for that you have to come outside.
She was confused ,"outside? But why?"
Yash: coz, I am here out of your house and want to say face to face.
It was shocking for her.. to believe she opened the window and yes he was there..
She immediately come out, "yash? whats the matter? Why are you here at this hour?
"I forgot to give you something which I got for you.." he handed a gift to her hand, "a gift for you.." he smiled..
Aarti was more shocked, "for this you come here this time? If someone will come to know that we are meeting at this time of night then...
Yash: then what?
Aarti looked at him, wondering, why he behaving like don't know what will happen?, "then they will misunderstand about us more, and for us that will be tough you know.. and you could give this to me tomorrow also.."
Yash: finally you are talking as you used to do before.. I was missing this only..
aarti felt embarrassed, how much she want to avoid this kind of situation so that she cant hope more but all happening the opposite only, "ok, now your work done, so please go now"
Yash: wont you open the gift?
Aarti: is it important to now? I can open it latter yash..
"no, open it now", yash was so adamant and aarti was tired to argue more so she was opening the gift when yash said, "gift toh bahana tha, actually as I said I wanted to say something.."
Aarti stopped and looked at him and started to feel different but then said, "whatever yash, please say soon.."
Yash: there in Mumbai I fall in love with someone..
She was shocked, hurt, the yash just few days ago said he think her only as friend and now...
Yash kept saying, "first time I felt something special for her.. she is so special aarti.. but I am thinking how to say her.. you are my such a good friend, will you help me?"
Aarti couldn't hide the pain, her eyes filled with tears, for this he come here at this time? Not for giving me gift but for breaking my heart in pieces?"
But somehow she controlled by looking down, because she know its not his fault. He can have feelings for anyone. After all he said to her not to hope anything and she herself denied the fact about her feelings so whats his fault?
She bring a fake mile, "great, finally, you find someone.."
Yash: will you please help me aarti? She is so sensitive.. little things affect her so much. So I am confused..
Aarti tried hard to show the happiness, "wow, only in 15 days you know her this much..? its impressive."
He smiled, "yeah, actually, in these few days only I could know her perfectly and about my feelings.."
Aarti: but who is the lucky one?
Yash: hai koi.. by the way you can see her in this gift..
She was surprised again.. why yash gave her such things where his beloved one present? She didn't want to open the gift but in other hand was wondering whats special in that girl that yash fall for her in only 15 days which aarti couldn't do in this much time..
She opened the gift but couldn't find any match with yash's words.. she was finding the rapper if there any special picture.. but stopped in middle.. it was a mirror.. she looked at it and suddenly her heart start beating, she get the match with the gift and yash's words..
She looked at him and then looked down. She didn't dare to look back, he was smiling. She felt embarrassed, she was surprised, she was shy.. she didnt know how to react.. she should smile or just ignore, or should ask him anything..
"do you liked the lucky girl?",he asked..
She still was looking down, " then whats that which you said 2 weeks back?"
Yash come forward to her, "that also was truth.., I just want to know this days gap didn't bring to your heart like bring in me?"
Aarti nodded in no..
Yash was taken a back to get her negative reply.. but he said, "its ok aarti.. you can look up.. you didt do any crime that you not looking at me.. I wanted to say.. I do love you.. then I couldn't understand but after this much time staying far from you make me realize the real feelings for you.. its not necessary that you also have to feel the same the way I do..go and sleep.."
He abot to leave when aarti held his hand, "mujhe kuchh kehna hai yash.."
She was quite and yash gave her the time then she said, "this gap really didn't bring any change in me of the feelings for you because today what you feel the same thing I felt then and now also.."
Yash: can I hug you please aarti?
She smiled and and gave her acceptance.. he hugged her, "I know aarti you were waiting for me oly thanks for that.."
Aarti: I hope now I can hope many things from you.. and I will even if you don't say..
