Aarya OS: Everything happens for a reason part three updated pg.13

Sometimes there comes a day when everything seem to go wrong.

This morning I opened my eyes only to find papa by my side wearing a long worried face, I didn't even care to ask what the problem was, and the only question that popped out of my mouth was "where is ma" because I thought she was the one in trouble but papa cast an unbelievable look at me and then it dawned on me that I was the one in trouble, as I laid on the bed lifeless with only beeps of the machines connected to my miserable body, I recalled what I thought had happened last night.

I was on my way back home from the centre where I take a daily training in the IT program. It was a cool and breezy evening that day and it started to rain; I had no umbrella, nothing to cover myself except my system (PC) which needed protection more than me. I became confused on whether to go back to the centre as all the shops nearby were closed or I should continue walking, I choose the latter. I decide to take a shorter route to my home because the rain was becoming heavy. As I took a left turn to a corner, little did I know I was taking a left turn to my life, I saw four shadows approaching in the dim light of the streets, not able to identify them as humans male or female I increased my pace trying not to panic. They seem to be even faster than me and my fear started to grow and something in me alert me that something is wrong but I didn't allow that change my mind, as I took another step the four hefty figures stood in front of me, I tried avoiding them but they seemed much more stronger than I proved to be, I struggled but to no avail, I screamed kicked, bit what else did I not do, I plead to them to let me go but my pleas went on deaf ears.. they had their way and the deed was done, I was raped.

They all escaped in response to a police siren they heard nearby, I laid there for about 30 minute I thought before passer-by trooping from nowhere stopped to look at me, I was to weak and traumatized to say a word and my vision went blank after capturing a young man asking me my name and whereabouts. And that was when I woke up after three days, on the same state to see papa's worried look.

I tried to talk, where is ma and Aman?, but papa signaled me to keep quiet, that am still weak and needed some strength. But each time I close my eyes the horrible incidence popped into my mind, I needed someone to tell me that what happened to me was just a mere hallucination by a traumatized me. I needed someone to tell me that its going to be okay. For the whole 24 hours I didn't eat nor talk and neither did sleep came. The next morning my body was feeling better but the depression was still there, few minutes later a young man appeared by the side of my bed and I could remember vividly that he was the same man I saw before everything went blank, I didn't know what he came to do so I shifted my gaze from him to papa, then papa told me he was the man who brought me to the hospital after the incidence. I thanked him gratefully but he said it was okay and introduced himself as Dr. Yash Scindia; doctor in-charge of the hospital. I also introduced myself as Aarti Dubey student in computer engineering.

Few more days passed, I didn't see ma or bhaiya, so I decided to ask papa who told me they have gone to Bhopal to complete my marriage procedural with Prashant family; one of the most influential families in Bhopal, and he couldn't break such news like that, omg! That was when my fear increased ten times fold I was engaged and now what happened, I can't face him what will he think, it all my fault my heart cried, papa could sense the tension that was emerging inside me, and he made me calm that he will understand, he trust the family. Prashant was my cousin and we had known each other since childhood, we lost contact when papa was transferred to Delhi. Surprisingly Prashant family gave us an unexpected visit and broke the news that the will like to take me as their daughter in-law and explained that they got to know that Prashant has developed a liking on me after rejecting many girls for his marriage proposal. Papa was happy but decides to ask me and report back to them, I expressed my worries to Ma that I am scared if this is all sort of a plan, I know Prashant to be a spoiled brat who gets his way whenever he wants anything he makes sure he has it by any means, but Ma was brilliant enough to convince me he has change, that was childhood days and now she knows he has grown up and well mannered. So it was a yes from my side and engagement was fixed after two weeks and the wedding can take place after am done with my IT training program which is a three month course.

I doze off to sleep while papa was calming me down and woke up around midnight to hear some little sobs, ma was back! And she was crying on papa's shoulders and Aman was sitting at the adjacent sit in the room, with his head bowed down, Oh..God I couldn't see them break like this, I don't know what my fault is but I was feeling guilty inside. Ma turned to find me awake and all she could do was hug me and she couldn't control the tears anymore we let our heart out but it didn't remove that guilt in me. Ma convinced me thing are going to be okay. Aman could only hold my hand and I could feel his protectiveness in his hold, he was in his teens, his last year at high school, but I know he understood what happened. Things started to get normal I have my family, that's what matter to me most and I started feeling better. After few days ma reasoned with papa that they should inform Prashant family what happened.

Tat!! I stop here, so home work - guess what Prashant family reaction gonna be..
